This restaurant sits next to a channel at Mojiko Port on Kyushu and across from Shimonoseki. It is also just across the drawbridge and steps away from the frequent and fast ferry to Shimonoseki.They brew their own beers here, and have actually a very good Hefe-Weissbier. We got the grilled octopus and it was amazingly good. If we had not had a lunch at the Shimonoseki Fish Market not too many hours before, we would have doubled the order!They also had a nice variety of food items, including homemade suasages.Prices are reasonable for Japan.

The restaurant is located within the Kamon Whalf and offers fantastic view of Kanmon Straits from 2nd floor. The range of seafood offered was just breathtaking for me... blowfish, sea urchin, salmon roe, whale to name a few. Donburi meals with generous serve of seafood is hard to find! Green tea soba is also a specialty of Yamaguchi prefecture. Set menu are available for lunch and dinner. Great restaurant for your seafood fix!!!
