I still cannot conceive that i ate my worst pasta ever in ItalyStill it happened in patapataThe restaurant was crouded which understandable it was saturdayThe service was below average it was slow, they asked to pay before serving, and they took my daughters plate which was not empty while she went to the toilet But the worst is that pasta overly cooked and served with a sauce that tastes like canned sauce It was just horrible and it was not even cheap There will be no next time but if u ever go there order grilles something and definitely not pasta

This place has the monopoly for this beach but does a reasonable job. The elevated position means to are out of the sand and enjoy a good breeze and a view. The food was adequate and we'll priced. Served with a smile. It's a pity there is no evening food but perhaps it's too remote for that idea

Visiting Scicli in March we settled outside the Buki Buki bar on the historic Via Francesco Mormina Penna for 'one Aperol' before dinner and ended up staying there for the rest of the evening, watching the comings and goings on the lovely piazza, chatting with the very friendly waitress and availing of the generous 'happy hour' aperitivo spread, which negated the need for dinner. Cool music, too - the Beatles, the Clash, the Cure (Friday night, anyway - sounded a bit more 'clubby' when we passed by on Saturday!)

They have great special paninis, very nice tasting and cheap, also good red wine to go with it, wonderful seating outside on the nice square by the river. Very fresh place.
