The last time I visited Diamond Jimâs was for take out. When I arrived to pick it up, I found myself wishing we had decided to come downtown and sit outside at Diamond Jimâs. Lovely evening and nice places to sit.Nonetheless, I enjoyed the food and think itâs a great place for good, reasonable take out food. I even had whitefish, which Iâve never done as a take out meal. It was hot, cooked properly and delicious. My husband had a pasta/chicken dish and liked it very much. It way beats other places you can get a great take out meal for a reasonable price.Go online and check out their menu!Staff is very friendly.

A freestanding restaurant with lots of available parking. Inside lobby seating area has typical roadhouse atmosphere. Hostess sat us immediately and server came quickly to table with menus, to tell us about dinner specials and to take our orders. Have never before experienced a server spouting SO MANY specials that she had them all written down for fear of forgetting too many of them. Our Quesadillas appetizer was a nice size and both it and the Guac that came with it tasted good, Our Fish and Chips were a disappointing what appeared to be three small frozen reheated fish sticks and tasteless. The Rice Bowl that came with it was stuck together rice with diced tomato pieces and heavily laden with cheese. Strange combination and also tasteless. Our half rack of ribs were a nice size but very dry and over covered with a thick sauce, Tough to separate the taste of meat from taste of sauce. Fries were thick cut and a nice golden color looking and tasty decent. The Onion Straws that also came with it were of a nice golden color and also tasted decent. Server was fast, efficient and friendly.

Went to Applebee's for mother's day dinner. Hostesses were polite and respectful. Restaurant was clean. Food was delicious and cooked to everyone's taste. General manager Matt was great as he took care of the only problem we had. Our initial waitress was in to much of a hurry to get all of our drink orders, she didn't even ask if my wife if she wanted anything. When she came back and I informed her of her mistake, she didn't apologize just asked what my wife wanted. Before our appetizers came out she delivered some plates that must have come right out of the dishwasher as water spilled out all over my silverwear. After I informed Matt about the problems, he quickly remedy the situation by replacing the plates and the waitress. Our new waiter Devon was awesome!!! Shawna could definitely take some advice from him!!!

I have been coming here since this place has opened and in the last 6 months service has really went downhill. Almost all of the regular waitstaff has left for other opportunities and their replacements are not near a good. In my last 2 visits I have had issues. In the first visit the waiter forgot our food order totally. We came in as usual and each of us ordered a flight. We also ordered a meal to split. After our first flight was finished we ordered another one as we were still waiting on the food. We had to track down our waiter to get the 2nd flight and he said the food would be out shortly when asked. We were still drinking our 2nd flight and he just laid down the check on our table, it wasn't a busy night when he did that. I asked about our food and he said he forgot to put it in and then just walked away. He came back a few minutes later, as we were still drinking and wanted us to pay. I paid and asked if a manager was in and was told there was not. That was in late July, early August. We went in a few days ago in October and while the service was better than the last, as we actually got our food, but our waitress still was not that friendly and couldn't actually recommend any of the beers on tap as she wasn't sure exactly what they had. In the past the nice blond haired waiter would always recommend beers on tap for us to try. It is a shame that he is no longer there and has moved on to a major beer distributor job. I did get to try the new Chicken Pizza Panini, which is a good addition to the menu.

Great food at reasonable pricing and specials before 6:00PM for us old guys(The photo in the review is the county courthouse)Even though I don't like peanuts, it fun to watch my party eat nuts and make a mess.Love the buttery bread and it is really warm.Prefer this steakhouse over the other 2 in town.Thank you for the review, John. Truly excellent! The service was fabulous. We all had the smaller filet steak. Marvelous and cooked to perfection. Great side dishes - the mashed potatoes and the German potatoes side! Yummy! The garlic green beans were equally smashing! Then the bill came. Wow! Exceptionally reasonable! Weâre going again!!

We ate there when we stayed at the Holiday Inn. We got in pretty late and my husband was not too excited to eat there. He was pleasantly surprised. The food and drinks are really good. He had the gyro and I had the cheesesteak sandwich. Both very delicious. The raspberry mojito is amazing. Our waiter was awesome. Good food but nothing special to write home about. Been there twice in the last 2 months. Service was good both times but the locals, mostly gray hairs rave about this place. Again good but not great by my reckoning.Had Taco Tuesday, very Americanized offerings, one time and Black and Blue Berger another. Berger had Bule Cheese dressing and not blue cheese mixed in the meat patty as most places have, a disapointment.
