It felt like everyone in Bordeaux stops here to eat. Locals, truck drivers, tourists. It's attractive for a roadside restaurant, with several rooms and outdoor decks (the shaded deck was perfect for our September lunch). The three course meal including wine and coffee was excellent for 14 euros. We had the seafood cassoulet, which was really a bowl of seafood (mostly mussels) in a tomato sauce. We stopped at this place for lunch - we sat on the verandah and enjoyed the sunshine so the slightly slow service didn't worry us. The chèvre cheese salad was lovely. A pleasant place for lunch away from the hustle and bustle of the main square.

Based on TripAdvisor reviews, we had very low expectations but were very pleasantly surprised. Because of the recent high temperatures, we sat inside and enjoyed the efficient air conditioning. The service we received was friendly and attentive. Our meals, the bacon burger and salads nicoise were both delicious. Merci!

We wandered in here by mistake because we were with friends and didn't have time to research. We paid the price, literally and figuratively. My husband's fish and chips was horrible, oily and with a mushy breading. (He says "This place sucks!) My nordic salad actually wasn't too bad because it had a lot of smoked salmon but the lettuce was in huge pieces and it was nothing like the usual attractive looking salads the French make. Our friends had desserts that looked pretty amazing though. It was very overpriced as well. I wish we had looked around some more before eating here!!
