The George Inn is a traditional English pub in the heart of Eton with a view of Windsor Castle. It has an extensive menu available to suit everyone's preferences and also a full bar available. All ages are welcome here in a group of any size - dogs too! W
I've been here a few times and love this classic pub in Eton. Great location, there is a nice selection of local ales made by the Windsor & Eton Brewery down the road. The Eton Rifles IPA and Guardsman Best Bitter were both wonderful. My last visit I sat outside in the beer garden and had lunch: a well-made fish sandwich, crispy fried cod on farm style wheat bread with slaw and a small basket of fries. A gin and tonic. Blue skies and a late summer breeze. All is well.

A five minute walk from Windsor Castle, you'll find this pub that resides next to the Windsor Great Park Walkway. Locals sit outside with their dogs, enjoying a brew and some tasty bites, while shooting the breeze with neighbors. The atmosphere is relaxed and neighborly. The servers are friendly. The food is tasty. Good value for price. A great place for people watching, as folks walk in/out of the Great Park.

Martin and Wendy Higgins are proud to welcome you to The Prince Albert. It is a traditional pub with the warm welcome you would expect, yet with a contemporary twist. With itâs sumptuous leather chairs, modern styling and rich wood furniture you will feel
We chose The Prince Albert for a family meal after 2 days at Legoland having read the excellent reviews on TripAdvisor. This proved to be an excellent decision. We received a warm welcome on arrival and were shown through to the restaurant where Rosie showed us to our table and dealt with us very efficiently throughout. The food and drink was excellent and good value, and we all had a great experience. We will certainly return when we are next in the area.

We originally booked a table for 10 inside and due to the warm weather when we visited we asked for a table outside which the owner / manager sorted out for us in 5 mins with no effort at all. We had touring guests with us who really enjoyed their baguettes for lunch and were very impressed by the beers on offer . We had a great lunch with no one having any issues with their food order. Would I go there again .... defo ! Well done and thank you for going the extra mile for us .Glad we were able to cater for you and your touring guests and they were able to not only enjoy the garden but enjoyed the service and the food and drink on offerHope you will bring other touring guests here in the futureMany ThanksAll @ Crown & Cushion

We arrived to a sign saying "car park closed" - I went in and asked, because I had booked online and the car park was actually one of the reasons, because my mother doesn't walk well at the moment. They said they'd had problems with it and it was now just for staff and for deliveries. It was entirely empty - they suggested we park over the road in a pay car park, which was too far for my mother to walk. Eventually they relented and allowed us to park, but this did seem rather unnecessary to me. If the car park is out of action, it would be good if that was clear on the website, and perhaps they could shut the gate - then I would have booked elsewhere. But as it was, we stayed and the two ladies serving were very helpful - sadly that didn't stop our food being very tough (duck breast and rump steak). We did mention this and, while they offered to change my mother's meal, since it was a birthday we didn't really want to eat at different times. With my steak I ordered peppercorn sauce, which they said would be coming ... and it was at least 7 minutes before it arrived - I asked, did you forget to order it? They then admitted that they did. Sadly the steak was very tough and of course, cool by the time I could eat it - I was surprised they charged the full £18 + additional £2 for the sauce. Also surprised they charged the full amount for the duck, considering my mother couldn't eat most of it because it was so rubbery, and then they added a service charge to the bill.So I would say, if you want a drink it's a nice pub with lovely bar staff, but avoid the food - it's overpriced and sadly, badly cooked.Very sorry about the issues you had with the parking and food. We will amend our website re. the parking, sorry about the confusion, but pleased the staff saw sense and allowed you in (for others reading this reply, customers can 'drop off' any passengers with mobility issues at the side entrance, then park in the 20p per hour public car park which is about 200mtrs away). Our car park has been closed for safety reasons due to its proximity to a zebra crossing. There is no excuse for your not receiving the peppercorn sauce with your steak, we apologise. The Head Chef has been made aware of your complaints on the steak and duck and is looking into it - yours is the first complaint about this. Had the Manager been on duty at the time of your visit I am sure the service charge (which is clearly stated as 'optional' on the menu, and all of which goes to the staff) would have removed it from your bill without being asked. Again, we are sorry your visit to the Stag was disappointing.

A lovely local pub, under new management from November 2016. Recently undergone an extensive refurbishment to allow a food offering. Thai food is now served offering a authentic taste and something unique to the area
Brilliant takeaway - was about to order from one of the Thai restaurants in Windsor but then remembered about The Jolly Gardeners. Food prepared quickly and to a good quality. Would definitely order again. Quite pricey but no complaints.Thank you for your review We are very glad you chose the jolly gardeners Thai kitchen and look forward to seeing you soon. X

You'll find The Alma just 5 minutes walk from Windsor town centre tucked away on a charming Victorian red brick terraced lined street. We are a traditional English pub serving a range of beers, ales, fine wines and great food... We also have the largest b
We had a very enjoyable meal here, the food was hot, plentiful and tasty. However to pay just under £9 for a glass of wine? Hmm. I can get the same wine in The Strand London for £7.60. This would not stop us returning when we return to Windsor soon but I will check drink prices in future. Staff were very welcoming and accommodating and the garden was pleasant.Hi Susan, thanks for the review, and I am glad you enjoyed the food. The wine prices are all on the wine list which is available throughout the outlet, with a 175ml of house starting at £4.40. We do have more premium wines which do reach £9 per 250ml, these which sell very well with our regulars and we think they are worth it, but we do have a number of options to cater for all budgets. We look forwards to seeing you again in the future.ThanksMike

The Fox And Castle is in parts 500 years old.It is your quintessential Black & White timbered building. According to the local historian there has been a pub on this site since 1216 a year after the Magna Carta was signed. We have adequate parking for cars
Really great pub, excellent choice of beers (London Pride particularly good!), only had chips but excellent. Old building, real pub with beams etc, 2 bars and a fantastic garden. Clearly the current owners have spent money to create a wonderful garden with different areas and styles, covered areas and quirky items, e.g. deck chairs.

As a group of 8 we had an excellent Sunday lunch here, food was excellent, served nice and hot (sometimes restaurants struggle with this esp. with a big group). Extra requests for more gravy and Yorkshire puddings were met with a smile and swift delivery. Superb service. Would definitely come back if in the area.

Built around 1480, The Thatched Tavern was originally a farmhouse with a croft (a small farm). There was also a Blacksmiths forge at the back of the building where the kitchen hatch is now, and a wood store at the end of the bar.During the reign of Queen
Amazing place. Had a wonderful evening with fabulous food and excellent wine along with amazing customer service. Our attendant Tom was outstanding, his customer service skills were on point. Would recommend this place just to be looked after by him. Will be back again. Dear eclipse1db,What a lovely review! Tom will be so pleased to hear this feedback! Thank you so much for sharing your most recent experience with us. We look forward to seeing you again soon.Best wishes; The Thatched Tavern
