We went with family and friends and found there super quality dishes a wide choice of drinks. Fantastic Sangria!Very friendly service speaking port, span, engl and german. The cake is wonderful. The cosy atmosphere you enjoy by good music on the esplanade. The enterior is very original done from portuguese cork and wood. Imagine! For less than 10€ per person you are filled up with nice food and good drinks! We enjoyed Curt'isso!

This place has probably gone from one we wouldn't like our kids to go to, to one where we'd definitely want to take them - from the old "tasca" to a nice restaurant, with great food, well cooked and seasoned. You can taste several typical flavours with a different touch. Our favourite was "ovos do purgatório". Staff is very kind, and aware about food allergies. The space itself is simple, but cozy. We'll definitely come back!

La Micro Cerveza Natural y Sabores de Mercado

I love a great beer, and had walked past this place a few times, and was excited to try it. My brothers and I were finally able to make it there when they were open, and we were not disappointed. While I like Estrella Galicia, I was looking for something with a bit more flavor and taste, and this easily completed that goal. The staff was extraordinarily friendly and the vibe was very relaxed. Lots of people there of all ages. Will have to try the food next time!Hi, Steve! Thank you very much for your opinion! We wait hopefully your next visit.Cheers!!

A Guarda has a range of tapas restaurants that fringe the pretty harbour. It's potluck as to where you may end up eating as it always seems quite busy! So if it looks OK and a table is available we ended up at The Cetlic!Menus are all pretty similar if you are looking at Tapas; one waitress spoke English and all staff friendly and efficency. The tapas we decided to order were good, we enjoyed the stuffed seafood peppers. However the experience of eating Tapas still exceeds the actual food! We personally still do not get the Pulpa experience!! But it made for an enjoyable lunch, lovely views and great walks around the harbour. A Guarda is definitely worth a visit with its pretty pastel houses. Views of Mt Tecla behind.Note: You can also get to A Guarda by the wonderful Ferry that crosses between Caminha in Portugal to A Guarda every 30 minutes, by car or on foot. 4 euros car and 2 adults single. Brilliant!
