This place started off as a butcher shop and opened the restaurant recently. We started with the Pickles and the Pig, as well as the smoked onion dip. Both were good, with the sausages (the Pig) being the highlight. I ordered the 6oz Wagyu sirloin and it was one of the best steaks I’ve had in a while. The chicken fried steak and burger were also very good. The only misstep was the side of green beans. They were too sweet, and the sweet overpowered the bacon that was clearly in them. Stick with other sides and you will definitely enjoy your meal.

Loved being able to look out over the lake while dining. However, I was disappointed in the Penne Pasta Pesto Shrimp Salad. Very little shrimp, and just a few cherry tomatoes for color - otherwise it was just pasta with a tasty pesto. Husband enjoyed the pot roast. We noticed that most entrees on the menu did not have any vegetables.spoweltx, Thank you for the privilege of serving you and your husband. We are glad you got to sit close to the lake. Hope you will try the patio when spring gets here. Sorry the pasta was a little less than you expected. I will review the shrimp count and cherry tomatoes that goes on the dish. Glad your husband enjoyed our pot roast. We have several vegetables including broccoli, spinach and carrots. Some meals come with a vegetable and some do not but you can always order a them on the side. We hope you will try us again someday. Respectfully, Harry – Harry’s At The Harbor

Mellow Mushroom should be renamed "Mellow and Outstanding Mushroom". The selection of pizzas alone is worth the trip. Very laid back but also very professional. It's a fun experience all around. Lot's of nice beer selections as well as wine and cocktails. Family friendly and priced just right. Servers are friendly, helpful and know the menu very well. Ask for suggestions.Thank you so much, Steven! This is what we love to hear! Hope to see you again at Mellow very soon!

This restaurant feels out of place for a town the size of McKinney or really any town in Texas. It has more of a northern pub feel. The food is decent enough, nothing bad on the menu and the music (when it's there) is a nice touch. The only downside to this place is that the dining area upstairs feels neglected (service wise). It tends to be busy and only 1 person waiting tables.Thank you for the very kind review. So glad that enjoyed The Celt. We hope to see you again very soon. If there is anything we can do to make your next visit even more pleasant please let me know. I'm usually here. Cheers! Stan.

The four of us went here for a late lunch / early dinner on a Friday. It was the perfect time, as we were seated right away. The service was prompt and friendly. There is a good selection of specialty burgers and sides. Specials for the day are on the chalk board. While not on the menu, you can ask for the ‘small’ version of each burger. It comes with a slightly smaller bun and slightly less burger patty. However, it is still a very good sized burger. Sides are extra, and we split onion straws and sweet potato fries amongst us. The burgers were hot, fresh, and juicy. I had the stadium burger, tasty with sautéed onions, lettuce, and tomato. Two small burgers, one side of straws, and two waters was around 25 dollars without tip.

Had lunch at Cadilla Pizza after hearing a recommendation from the LYS. My friend and I both ordered the Lunch Special - 9" pizza and half salad. She is not even a pizza fan, but she ate her whole pizza and ordered a Sedona salad to take home. If you are in downtown McKinney you should try it.
