This is my favorite pizza in Cedar Rapids. I have fortunately patronized Need since their first day of business. The first visit was very good and they have consistently gotten better. Besides pizza that can be customized, their salads are very fresh. If you are in a hurry this is not the place for you. As they say, good food takes time and I don't mind waiting a little longer.

New and nice looking but it ends there. Noise level intolerable where ever you sit. Cannot carry on any conversation without shouting. Very unpleasant.Wait staff has little or not training. Poor service. Waitress spilled drink on one in our group. Very slow getting waited on and slow to get food.Food is Meah - nothing to go back for . Really disappointed and tried this place twice.

After a family gathering, 10 of us went to The Longbranch for dinner and an adult beverage or two. We were surprised that it was Taco Tuesday (on Wednesday) - all you can eat for $5! What a deal. We all partook in the all-you-can-eat festival of tacos. They were actually not too bad. Drinks were inexpensive. Service was good considering how busy they were. Plus, they had trivia night which we enjoyed more and more as the drinks were consumed. All in all a great night for our family. A lot of fun. Would definitely go back.Glad you enjoyed your visit, hope to see you soon!

Recommended by a waitress in another restaurant after saying we were disappointed with the bars in Cedar Rapids. She said this is the place to go, the locals love it. This is authentic American bar, vast space, pool tables and seats at the bar. Huge praise to Nate our bartender, great conversation and made us very welcome. Very funny conversation about English vs American customs. The rules of playing pool are very different. Met some lovely people, everyone made us feel very welcome. Will definitely return. This is the place to relax and enjoy a few drinks.

This place is the bomb! Service was on top and perfect. Had the burger and sweet potato waffle fries-delicious- everything on the menu looked great.Hopefully you will be able to make it back in and try out some more of our menu! Come here frequently for lunch with coworkers and occasionally with family. One of my favorite places in CR. Have tried many different menu items and have never been disappointed. A few of my favorites are nachos, fish/chips and of course, the cheese wontons. They also have the BEST honey mustard, I could drink it by the cupful:) Service is always fast and friendly! If you are searching for a place to go- this is it!

Great addition to the Cedar Rapids-Marion pizza scene. Unlike perennial favorites Tomaso's and Zoey's (just across the street), this place serves 10-inch individual pies. Toppings range from your typical cheese, pepperoni, black olives, etc. to goat cheese, artichokes, blue cheese and more. I had the Meat Mountain (sausage, pepperoni, ham and bacon) and my wife have the Greek Goddess (black and green olives, basil, artichokes and garlic with a balsamic vinegar dressing). Both were excellent.The beer menu includes old-style American lagers plus a small but nice selection of craft brews.The restaurant has an open seating floor plan, so it's a bit noisy. But still fun.Our server was excellent - friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu.Thank you for the visit and review!

We ordered one vegetable plate and an iced tea for $11.18 and a Chicken Pecan Salad for $9.79. The vegetable place will probably not be ordered again as the veggies seemed to be a hard and a bit under cooked. The noodle soup that came with it was fine as was the croissant. The salad order was quite filling, enough so that a take home carton was needed. Prices are good, with a large variety of food choices. Nicely decorated restaurant that makes it look a bit upscale, but very casual in reality. Service was good and pretty quick, with one slight mixup in not getting our croissants right away.

Emilâs Hide away is pretty much a regular stop for us now when we visit our son who attends college nearby. Varied menu, Excellent sandwich selection, great sides, nice casual atmosphere, consistently good service. Not a chain, which we like. Parking lot is small and itâs a bit tricky to get to, but it is worth the bit of trouble every time!
