Nice wine list that is very manageable and the standard is very good for the price. Its right in the center of town and while we ate outside the inside was really very nice as well - though empty in the summer time of course. I had a duck breast that was a bit to large and rare for me but other then that - enjoyable and a nice spot if you are in town. The tuna was very well cooked and tasty.

I am sure many visitors walk past Cafe du Commerce and see the pavement tables and even the dusky bar, and miss the fact that beyond the bar is a quaint indoor restaurant with vaulted ceilings, great service and good food. In contrast, many restaurants in the area expect people to eat outdoors, and offer soulless cramped indoor accomodation for rainy weather use. Our party had lamb cutlets with rosemary (both locally grown), and duck with honey sauce. Typically Provencal, and little to find fault with.So if you are in Forcalquier, cafe du Commerce is worth a try for oudoor or indoor dining.

Nach dem Markttag in Forcalquier haben wir hier etwas getrunken. Der Service war nicht sehr bemüht, ein Lächeln wäre nett gewesen. Kaffee und Getränke kamen nach einiger Wartezeit, am Pastis kann man nicht viel falsch machen. Dass die Gäste am Nachbartisch ihre mitgebrachte Verpflegung verspeiste, spricht für die Gleichgültigkeit des Personals. Beim nächsten Mal probieren wir eine andere Bar aus.
