This was our first time to eat at Waterton Tavern which is located in a strip mall a few miles from Roxborough State Park. A friend we were hiking with recommended we give it a try. It was a nice tavern with a friendly atmosphere. The food and service were good and it is certainly a place we would visit again when in the area.

We arrived in Denver later than expected due to weather. I reached out to our AirBnb host for a casual restaurant recommendation. This place has amazing food. They said our wait time was about ten minutes which turned out to be less than 5! Kathleen, our server, was happy, enthusiastic and made great suggestions. Our dinner choices were the mini park burger, the turkey burger (requested with bbq sauce and they delivered) and the to die for âget figgy with itâ burger! My dad and husband raved about the sweet potato fries! Our drinks were the draft Pretzel Assassin and the Brainless on Peaches! Both of us thoroughly enjoyed our selections.

Recently Lynn and I and our daughter and granddaughter had lunch on the patio at The Pint Room, a restaurant and bar that features more than 100 different craft beers. Lynn started with a Breckenridge Avalanche. I had an Eddyline Jolly Roger. Both good. We each had a delicious Irish Sandwich, corned beef on wonderful Marbled Rye. Lynn had onion rings on the side. The patio was a great place to enjoy a comfortable spring Colorado day.

Went for lunch on a weekend. It was super busy with no deck seating available. There was a band that was going to start playing shortly and that may have been the reason for everyone wanting to eat outside. We did find an indoor table. Within half an hour the inside was also crowded. You should know that you just seat yourself, so as soon as you walk in you should start looking for a table. They had lots of regular âbar foodâ on the menu, but their specialty is Mexican. We all ordered a Mexican dish and were not disappointed. The steak tacos were some of the best Iâve had. They have a fun drink menu and a few special drinks for the day. I ended up getting their house margarita and it was very good. Great place to come and hang out if you are in the area. By the way, the crowd was varied and there were many families with small children (everyone was having a good time).

5 of us went for dinner here on a Sunday night & we were immediately seated. Food was great - 2 had fish & chips and enjoyed, 1 sushi, 1 baja enchiladas and I had and really enjoyed the lobster mac & cheese! Portions were good size and service was very good. Recommend!!

A friend took my son and me to this place. Had never heard of it, but I know it now! What a great place!My son and I both had the bison filet. It was incredible! Better than beef in my own humble opinion! The service was very good and the waiter was very patient in telling us about the selections available.I would definitely come to this place again! Be prepared to spend a bit, but it was very much worth it!Thank you for the great review! We pride ourselves on serving made-from-scratch food paired with genuine hospitality. A great dinner with family here. The only challenge was parking but really was fine. I loved the shrimp with grits and my husband is still raving about the spicy chicken. I'd recommend the flight of beer to try something new. And we'll continue to enjoy the fresh berry preserve as there's a shop on the way out. Thanks !
