Very easy to find as you enter Hout Bay Harbour. Just to the left of the carpark to the left. This is a family business and it shows. Great, friendly atmosphere, attention to detail, service, and quality. The Tapas bar has great views and is fully licensed. What is also nice is that they collaborate with local tourist attraction operators like Cape Town Bucket list and Sweet Waters Adventure Sailing, so they have loads of local knowledge.

Okay to be fair, I am in the service industry so maybe my expectations are above par??! However I must say as a recent transplant to the area I wanted to support a locally owned business and was so surprised how such a "popular" local hangout could survive with such an obvious disenfranchised and disengaged staff. Urine flowing restrooms and overall careless staff that is bothered to wipe off sticky table tops when you respectfully ask for assistance. Clearly poor Mangement and leadership for a spot that could have endless potential. Limited options for late night weekend shenanigans which is the only reason is generates volumes of people. I felt so disrespected as a customer I will never be back and would NEVER recommend to a friend, colleague or client visiting the area. Food is wow average standard and Mgt. Was very annoyed to receive any constructive feedback of issues when fairly brought to their attention before posting this review. Shame!

Visit for a lunch, after swimming with the selas. Great place! Awesome food and enormous menu for your choice, with good vibes all around, spacious... excellent spot at the bay, with a very good structure at the restaurant. Everyone should visit for a great time and very good sea food taste.

Visited today with my husband and two children. I have to admit the food was very tasty. However I asked for rare steak and when it came over cooked I mentioned to the waitress. She called the manager who promptly questioned me in such a condescending way he made me cry. He not once apologised for the mistake in cooking it different to I ordered and as he left the table he rolled his eyes at me. I have never felt so guilty for querying my food in my life. When the waitress saw me upset she called the manager who denied rolling his eyes and said he had not done so. His apology was insincere and followed by the bill which offered no gesture of apology. Paid full price despite the upset and having to wait for my steak to be re cooked. Food was great but donât expect any courtesy or respect from the manager. The waitress on the other hand was polite and friendly. Thank you for taking the time to rate our restaurant and feedback regarding your experience at our restaurant. I am very sorry to hear that you were not entirely satisfied during your visit and really do appreciate the feedback on our food and service.Thank you for mentioning our staff, they are what makes our guest's experience so memorable and perfect.

Traditional pub feel with a great menu. The scotch egg was awesome and the fish & chips is one of the best in Cape Town. Plenty of different beers on tap and lots of sport. Service is great too.Thank you for your review. We are so glad you enjoyed the food and service. We have some awesome new beers on tap coming soon. We hope to see you back to try them out!
