We visited Old Chicago Pizza on a Saturday afternoon while in Waco. They have a lot of TV's showing sports around the restaurant, and we were watching basketball games on this day. We ordered their spinach avocado dip, which came with an assortment of veggies including celery, carrots, broccoli and peppers plus tortilla chips and some yummy garlic bread. We followed that with a hand-tossed pepperoni pizza. Our server kept our soft drinks filled and was very attentive during our visit. The pizza had a great flavor but was a little greasy compared to other pizzas. It tasted very good though and we enjoyed our entire meal there. The provide a nice product and service is cheerful.

The service is very good, though you may have a bit of a wait for your drinks even if you're sitting in the bar area.Good pizzas and excellent Fish and Chips.

Several folks waiting for tables when we arrived. Hostess said tables were available in the bar area if we didn't mind sitting in that area and we told her that would be fine. Hostess took us to the table and it was still dirty -- she apologized numerous times for taking us to the table and wiped it clean herself. Waitress took our order quickly and warm rolls were delivered with our drinks. Food wait was not long. The meal was enjoyable and the bar area was fine with numerous TV screens showing a variety of sport programming. Thank you for taking the time to review your experience. We went there for dinner at the recommendation of our hotel desk clerk and she was right on. The food is delicious and the portions are big. All this with good prices and a friendly atmosphere. Wish I lived in Waco so I could go often.

We visited Walk-Ons for dinner while in Waco. I had the Cajun combo featuring Catfish, Crawfish Etouffe and fries crawfish. The catfish came either blackened or fried. I had the blackened My wife had Cajun shrimp pasta which I shared with her.Bistros is located next to a pond and has a nice view. They also have a lot of TVâs In place and a great selection of beers!We enjoyed the food and also a cookie skillet with ice cream for dessert!We have been here before and really enjoy their food and service.

I had not been to BJs in a while. We wanted a sit-down-and-order place with a varied menu for lunch. I requested a table in a less noisy area. The service was great and the food was good. A lunch menu is available for smaller appetites. The waiter did not rush us at all so we had good visiting time. Waco has so many new restaurants it is easy to forget the old standbys. I'm glad we went to BJs and will be back soon.

The happy hour was worthwhile with many local folk taking advantage of the good prices. Additionally, the restaurant was willing to share a large steak between 2 with no plate charge. Talking with locals it appeared that a 16 oz ribeye was regarded as a normal red meat portion even for young ladies. The service was quick and friendly and the food fine.

Took out lunch from this location. Had three vegetables with a side salad. All the vegetables were tasty, and the salad was simple, but fresh. I had the chargrilled chicken wings, with a blue cheese dipping sauce. Delicious.
