Visited Chaplin Café to watch the Champions League Semi-Final. Really friendly atmosphere and attentive staff. A mixture of tourists and locals. Chaplin's is a welcome addition to the Plateias scene. Modern and bright décor with a great view over the square with its colourful fountains display. We plan to go back soon to try out the bar menu.

was in Kavros for a 2 week holiday and tried all of the cafes for a good coffee, and Olympos had the best coffee by far. So once we discover this place this where we went for our afternoon coffee. To my husbands surprise the draft beer was served in a frozen beer mug.....nice touch on a hot day. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a meal there as well.. which was calamari and shrimp saganaki. The calamari was good really nice, however the shrimp saganaki was the best I have ever eaten Really happy that we discovered this place and would recommend this place, as you won't be disappointed

One of our favourite places. The beach at Georgiopoli is huge and there are a lot of taverna's. However, we find that we return to this one and have continued to do so over the years. It is located right on the beach and the cold fresh stream meets the sea just in front. The staff are friendly and happy to see you. The food is consistently good and the large pints of Myths are iced. Plenty of parking and clean facilities.

We were so disappointed on our second trip to Tropicana at the end of the season. It was pristine and perfect in May. New wooden beach loungers with comfy cushions; someone bringing drinks; good food and clean toilets, (wheelchair friendly which is important to us). However at the beginning of October that had all changed. Most of the sun loungers had been replaced with the old tatty uncomfortable ones. Only the double wooden ones remained. The toilets were dirty and no one even offered us a drink. We didn't eat there as we thought it would not be good. Such a shame. Hopefully by next year it will improve as its such a good asset to the beach.

After being annoyed by the Georgioupolis Beach Hotel for overbooking and giving us a room a distance away we were prepared to continue our journey onto Chania, but for the great ladies at Summertime, where we spent a couple of hours in the afternoon and then again in the evening when we had a great dinner (not bothering to use the half board paid for at the GBH).Thanks Summertime, it was worth staying!

We've had cocktails here twice now. Both times really impressed with choice, size and price. A really good place to come & unwind after a long day in the sun - especially if you choose one of the frozen cocktails.Last night we ate there as well, and although it can be a bit chips with everything, you can also get a decent salad. 4 main courses, 7 cocktails, 2 soft drinks and the bill was â¬73
