I ate here because on a Sunday night in August because all the other restaurants were closed for the holidays. The service was very friendly and there was nothing wrong with the food, nothing special either

En visite à Dax nous nous sommes arrêtés dans cette brasserie où la terrasse accueillante nous a donné envi de nous y poser. Lâ intérieur et bar sont aussi cosy. ( juste les toilettes à revoir ...) Lâ accueil est sympa et service rapide . Les plats principaux étaient bon niveau goût et rapport qualité prix . Par contre les desserts ( flan trop sucré et trop bouilli et tarte au citron fade ) nous ont déçu. Mais nous y avons passé un bon moment car la terrasse et son mobilier très confortable et vraiment sympa

Une bonne adresse pour déjeuner rapidement.Service efficace, souriant et rapide.Un menu du jour avec 2 choix d'entrées, 2 plats et 3 desserts.De la cuisine maison simple et bonne.

Never had such a bad meal in France. Not a pleasant experience. Wanted something to eat on a Sunday when most places were shut so stopped here thinking it looked ok. Ordered tapas plate and a Cesar salad. The salad didnât have a Cesar sauce but something else and served with a slice breadcrumb and deep fried chicken breast. Not good. The tapas was all breadcrumbed and deep fried including the chicken and almost black squid. The only half decent but was the Brie. Didnât even have a dip or sauce and the salad had the same odd dressing as the Cesar one. Try somewhere else.

Restaurant au top pour déjeuner avec un menu du jour E/P/D + café a moins de 15 euros. Pas de choix par contre c'est excellent, fin et bien présenté.Aujourd'hui c'était gravelax de saumon suivi d'un filet mignon sauce moutarde et tagliatelles de légumes.Carte courte mais excellente et aprix très correct. St Jacques au top.Accueil sympa et service efficace.

We had lunch on the terrace and took 'le menu du jour'. Impeccable service, good and with care prepared food for a very reasonable price. Place to recommend.

Julian the owner has really tried to bring his knowledge of time spent in Australia and the Uk into this bar. It's a fun atmosphere. They make great cocktails and do a show with juggling the bottles etc. The chef even showed us some magic tricks and he was very good. Later on they have an open mike so you can get up and sing with the musicians. They have a restaurant but we ate in the bar. Great thai fishcakes. If you're in Dax give this place a go.
