I became fan of the Madero Chain, everywhere where I had lunch or dinner, food and service were excellent, but in this specific location, that I visited twice, the place is very noisy, as it is larger than other restaurantes from the same chain, service was not as prompt as in other places, but food was excellent, and I love their steaks. Will be back

This restaurant exist since 1979 and has a very good food. Very tradicional, very "from Curitiba". Once you get a table at the old part(better), the food is soooooo good. If you want to have some beer, try the "Submarino", a mug of beer with a little mug

This restaurant was recommended to us by several locals and since we were already in the area for the Sunday market, we decided to stop by for a late lunch. However we found the service to be indifferent and food less than mediocre. Having said that, my colleagues said the beer was good (only reason for 3 stars). I guess this makes the restaurant authentic as it reminded me of my recent trip to Germany (for all 3 points). Although the atmosphere was great, I have no desire to return. Total cost for 3 of us to get beer, appetizers, and a Coke Zero was 127.60 reals. The appetizers we ordered were fried chicken parts, french fries, and cut up sausage with mustard (half red and half white). None of it was very good or appetizing. If you decide to check it out, eat before you go.

I went with one of my good friends during the FIFA World cup in June 2014. We went to this restaurant specifically to taste and try out the legendary Curitiban delicacy known as Carne de Onca. The restaurant is a bit out of the way from the city center and the party district of Batel but it is definitely worth it. Not only was the Carne de Onca legendary but the service, atmosphere (full of locals that now good food) and the cockatils were to die for... This is a must for all foodies!

Good place to have a good time with family and friends, quite crowded but with a good service, life music is good, appetizer style food is good, comedy club where some artists try to make you laugh, unhappily, they are not at the level of this place.

Every time we go to Curitiba, we never miss having lunch here. If you like fish, then this is the right place. Nice atmosphere, good service, and very good food. We are so used to this place, that we don't even ask for the menu, as we already have our top favorite food: as a starter you have to try the Espetinhos de camarão (breaded shrimp with cheese), or a Casquinha de Siri (crab in a shell). Our main dish is always the same: Peixe a milanesa na crosta de manjericao (breaded fish with basil), which can be easily shared by two persons. Prices are also very reasonable for the good quality of food you get. The only negative side is that the parking lot is normally crowded.

On Monday, cheap Ox ribs burger. Pint for half pint on Tuesday's. Music (with a 2 dollars fee) in the rest of week. A good variety of tap beers (local and global) and a huge collection of bottoms - with a small shop within. Nice staff and atmosphere. Great if you already had enough ice cold Brazilian cheap beer in the regular bars. The food gets a b+ (fair enough for a pub).

I am from USA and was visiting with colleagues after work. The staff was very friendly. Service was quick. Beer was delicious! The bartender helped me decide right away which beer would be for me based on my description.Food was served quickly and was very tasty.A great place for a fun, casual night out with friends.
