I visited HQ with my boyfriend for a chilled afternoon, sundowners and to soak up the beach atmosphere. Iâd been to Catch bar, which is linked to HQ, a few times so was looking forward to it.The bar is right on the beach and offers a choice of sun loungers, mini cabanas or a sala nest (very comfy!) to rest in.The staff are great, very attentive and friendly.The food was also very good.However, HQ will not be at its best until the construction work to its right, building a new beachside resort, is complete. It is immediately next door and thereâs lots of noise from the power tools until late into the evening. On the other side of the bar, Cafe Del Mar is situated - there is a sound clash with their music and HQâs. This, coupled with the construction does not make it a very relaxing venue.I look forward to returning in a couple of years when itâs all completed to se the transformation.Dear Vikster76,Thank you so much for having visited HQ Beach Lounge.Indeed, the finishing development of Intercontinental Hotel next to us is creating some disturbances however it will be completed by April this year as the hotel will open.Regarding our neighbor beach club, we are continuously trying to minimize the disturbance for the benefit of both parties.See you again soon for more relaxed moments.Until thenOlivier

We called in just for a lunch time drink, but ended up also having a sandwich & chips which cannot be faulted. The young lady server went out of her way to ensure that we were more than happy with our visit, and to ensure that the next time we visit Kamala next year that we shall visit again

We went for the golf and decided to stay and have the pizzas - a good decision.The pizzas are large. And very nice.A good atmosphere to spend an evening with family and/or friends.The staff are good and so is the service - though (understandably) the food will take a while when there are a lot of guests. So don't expect your pizza in 5 minutes.

This part of Phuket is awash with excellent restaurants and it is impossible to go hungry.However, Beer Garden stays apart from the crowd because the food is that little bit better - especially the Western Food and the Bar is a great way to chat to like-minded strangers.All the staff work so hard and the fun really starts when the rain comes as everyone runs for cover and eat at the bar, which works out well.This really is a lovely, simple, honest place to eat and we ended up eating here 3 times in a 10 day stay and you will to, if you pay them a visit.

We visited for a drink. We had wine and cocktails which came from extensive choices on the drinks list. We stayed on for tapas which were great, in fact for two of us four was plenty. The menu was more extensive than just the tapas, with a range of western style dishes, with a few Thai ones too. We had the pleasure of being served by very attentive, but not intrusive, waiters. It is a restaurant with a lovely clean and well kept interior near Surin Beach. Most enjoyable. Many thanks for your kind review. I'm very happy that you enjoyed your visit the tapas, the wine and the service from our staff. We look forward tonwelconing you next time should you be in the area again.

The name is somewhat misleading as its just another Aussie pub with beer rather than cider.They had no cider on tap, and very small selection in cans.Can go to any bar in Phuket for that.The staff is very nice and accommodating.What surprised me is they charged 100 baht for peanutsWe did have an issue with our Cider supplier hence why no draught cider, we now have 6 kegs in stock. Also we do stock 15 different types of bottled cider and looking to extend that! Not sure I'd classify us as another Aussie Pub, they can be found in Kamala and Patong! Also odd to hear your comment about the nuts as didn't know we served them, just free popcorn. Perhaps one of the girls had gone to Seven Eleven to get them for you. Pretty much your basic Thai cuisine. They get a fourth star for the service: The free shuttle that they run in and around Surin beach was very convenient. They pick you up on the street and drop you back off at the lobby of your hotel. The restaurant service was good and friendly.

The picture does not really describes how beautiful this bar is at sunset. We visited this bar every night & it still was special on every single occasion.Besides the ambience the cocktails are top class with a large selection & mixed by a professional mixoligist.Just as good a visit at dark is also impressive with the right lighting & a tree that is lit up that looks like it was out of Avitar.A great place for a romantic drink or for a group who likes to chill out with great live music (mood) & exceptional cocktails. We kept going back because it is so good.
