Huge selection of beers, beautiful atmosphere, had the octopus carpaccio and the salmon carpaccio, beautifully presented on a flat large plate with Parmesan shavings and crispy toasts and pistacchios (the pistacchios threw me off a bit).The decor is a fusion of industrial, Off the Wall, and modern. (excellent combo) My hat's off to the interior designer!It is a little on the pricey side, so be prepared to pay about a 100 bucks for a party of two.

Over the past four months I have spent, on average, two weeks a month at the Intercontinental, which included many visits to Bar Zambra. Javier, Randall, Jonathan, Chris, Ana, Mauren, Marianela and the rest of the staff are warm and friendly, and make all guests feel at ease. The food is served from one of the fine restaurants on site, and the drinks are served cold and perfectly mixed. Positives: Fantastic, creative, colorful asian fusion food! Love the Thai Tom Yum soup with shrimp and Vietnamese shrimp and rice dish. Great ambiance music at good level for talking. Good decor, lighting and variety of food and drink. Negatives: The white sangria was good but was filled with ice that completely watered down the drink. I would recommend serving it cold with no ice. As the customer drinks it, bring over a little bowl of ice the customer can add as needed. The staff is nice but forgetful and not good at taking the initiative. For example: they forgot about the water, never checked to see how our food was or to ask if we wanted dessert or another round a drinks. Starting at 10:30pm when the place cleared out, they seemed more interested in cleaning than attending to the customers since the rush was over. The staff brought over the cheesecake dessert without utensils or a candle despite I mentioned it was her birthday "La Cumpleañera" a few times that night. It would have been a nice gesture for them to bring over a complimentary dessert with a candle since we were there enjoying ourselves. I had to flag down the waitress to ask if they had any desserts and then when she brought it over ask her if they had a candle. Those are the little detailed that they could work on but, I'll definitely be back because of the food, ambiance and music.

Went with some friends and got the Pink Floyd and Black Sabbath pizzas. Pink Floyd was really good. The pizza is super thin crust and has lots of good cheese, different from the typical Costa Rican pizza. It was a little on the expensive side, but not outrageous. I also had wanted to try their house brew, but they were out.

Located in the Plaza Cariari. Busy spot for drink & eats! Plenty of atmosphere with an all American feel to it. LOVE the NEON. Lots of food choices. Plenty of friendly servers. Hilary from Italy, took great care of us, thanks! Decent sangria, needs more fruit! Say hey to the owner Paul if you can! Go!

This place should remain number 1!!! The place has unbelievable food and great beer selection (local beers and Belgium/German) and the staff is so amazing!!! And open air seating if you like. They played some Metallica videos for me at my request. What a great find. And a short Uber/taxi ride if you are close to airport.

It is hard to believe that this kind of average looking restaurant in a big shopping mall next to a Chilis is the top rated restaurant in Heridia. The food is OK, service is OK, the beer selection is good and the parking options are excellent. Still I was disappointed after walking across town based on reviews to find something that would fit right into a suburban strip mall in middle america

The place all ways has a varied and good section of music.Super chill environment and relaxing time and spend the time playing pool ! AWESOMEE !They have a interesting food and beers combination, they have a long list of Artisan and international beer menu that we can pick and taste different flavors.The only uncomfortable thing, the place is always very crowded so you need went early if you want a good spot. And some times the service is clueless with the orders.An other thing, you can't pay with AMEX, just with VISA, Mastercard or cash, and if you go in car, there are a few parking lots near to the place.However is a nice place to take some beer and snacks with your friends!
