We had been on the road all day an arrived late to town. Not much was open but we found this place. Looked like a local hangout and we did not expect much. However, IT WAS GREAT. My husband had the hamburger, which turned out to be the best he had in France and better than most in the USA. I had a chicken breast stuffed with andouille sausage smothered with Camembert cheese and included a salad and potatoes. YUM, it was perfectly cooked and could not have been better, we are so glad we were able to eat there. Service was great, friendly and attentive.

Came here for dinner. Ordered 3 steaks.... one was outstanding, one was OK and the other was simply mediocre. The mediocre steak was returned and it was cooked perfectly after that. This place can be good if they have some consistency. Good value for the money.

In the absence of a flunch I decided to have a bite after shopping at this Cafeteria next to the leclare supermarket for the price the main was ok the little carafes of wine good value, starters very good, dessert less so

Varied menu, changes on a daily basis, the Patron cooks to order over the open fire in the bar.The bar is friendly, the patron & his daughter served us and were welcoming and friendly, they speak a little English enough to order.Merci de votre passage au relais vainquais sachant que vous êtes venus 2 jours consécutifs et que vous avez appréciés la qualité des repas et l'ambiance du relais vainquais.Thierry
