Best sandwich Iâve eaten! The choice of different types of ham and salami is impressive; youâre taken through an explanation of each, all of which, they point out, are not available commercially. I had the parma ham on panini, with a local brie-like cheese, and tomatoes. The bread was fresh with just the right crunch. At 5 euros, it was good value as well. There are many reasons to visit Como, and this little sandwich shop is another.

I was there a lot of time, good food, various choice, beers are wonderful. I would recomend the big schnitzel with potatoes, ham, vegetable with river of blonde beer! If I'm not wrong is called "orecchio d'elefante..." But it's very big, not for everyone... Enjoy!

This fabulous little café is located in Montorfano, just south of Como. The cool design it shows is by Culti. The atmosphere is busy but quiet and cool but cozy, just relaxing! Mostly frequented by locals is offers a small but excellent selection of pastry and little meals and a broader selection of food and wine to take with you. If you are around como and fond the northern Italian lifesyle this is a must!

Found this place during my recent trip to Italy, lake Como. Mr. Michele, the owner, is a friendly guy with a passion for genuine food & drinks which he selects from all over Italy. Fantastic cured Ham and Salami, which I brought back home in Singapore to share with my friends. Must try!
