Thank you Ronald for your generosity! We stopped for a glass of wine, beer and pretzel as we finished our bike ride. I asked Ronald where we might be able to purchase a wine opener and he insisted on giving us one, a very nice one! Great stop, right on the water with excellent customer service.

Gleich vorweg - wer hier ausgefallene Speisen sucht, ist falsch. Aber wer Zwischendurch was leckeres essen will, der ist hier richtig. Egal ob Würstl in Saft, Beuschel, Chiliwurst oder Käsekrainer -> alles wird rasch zubereitet und schmeckt hervorragend. Der Wein ist ebenfalls von guter Qualität, aber was ich definitiv sagen: Es gibt dort das beste Bier von ganz Eferding. Frisch gezapft, mit einer schönen Krone....Herz was willst du mehr. Platz ist auch genug vorhanden, auÃer an Sonntagen - denn dank Frühschoppen wirds schon manchmal etwas eng.

A down to earth Gasthaus with regional products. The Schweinsbraten is possibly the best you can get in the whole of Mühlviertel area. Very tender yet crispy crust. It is not cheap but considered the quality of the food very very good value. Self made drinks and sweets are also available. If you want to taste real home-made food it is the place to be. The Pesenbachtal is a nice trail for hiking and directly nearby. We love it here!

Schon das Testessen erfüllte alle Kriterien für ein Sehr-gut! Einfache, regionale Küche mit extra Raffinesse! - Möchte nur das dann in Auftrag gegebenen Catering etwas beschreiben: Fingerfood, wie es sein soll! - alles für zwei Hände einfach zu bewältigen! Geschmacklich vorzüglich. Essigwurst im Glas!, ein auf einem Löffel plaziertes faschiertes Laibchen mit Erdäpfelpüree und Röstzwiebel - (eine komplette Vorspeise auf einem Happen!) - dieverse Strudeln usw....Fingerfood Nachspeise: kleine Nugartknödeln im Glas, mit Pinzette serviert! - einfach toll soviel Kreativität!und was uns besonders gefällt: alles, wirklich alles, selbst gemacht und handgemacht! bravo!!!! Erwähnenswert auch die gepflegte Getränkeauswahl und das nette, professionelle Service!Herzlichen Dank für den wunderschönen Abend

Die Pension Fischerhof liegt gegenüber dem Städtchen Aschach direkt am Donauradweg.Idealer Ausgangspunkt auch für kürzere Fahrradtouren zu den Feldkirchener Badeseen oder zur Schlögener Schlinge.Unser Zimmer lag im 1. OG; leider gab es keinen Aufzug. Das Zimmer war einfach und schmucklos, ein Fernsehgerät war vorhanden, Minibar/Kühlschrank oder Safe gab es nicht. Zimmer und Bad waren sehrklein, aber für einen Kurzurlaub ausreichend. Als Kosmetikartikel im Bad gab es nur einen Seifenspenderin der Dusche. Der Innenhof, der zu den Zimmern führt, ist sehr nett als Patio gestaltet mit einigen Sitzplätzen,allerdings gibt es vor dem Haus direkt am Flussufer einen einfachen Biergarten, wo auch die einzigen kuli- narischen Spezialitäten des Betriebs verkauft werden: Steckerlfische und von einem Bratmobil Brathendl.Das Frühstück war ordentlich bis einfach, abhängig von der Anzahl der Gäste. Die Hausherrin war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich.

Ruhig gelegen direkt am Donauradweg, sehr grosse saubere Zimmer, grosses Bad mit grossen Abstellflächen und getrennten WC. Die Duschen sind noch alt sollen aber heuer erneuert werden.Die Küche ist sehr gut und reichlich. Das Preisleistungverhältniss ist in Ordnung.Das Frühstück könnte etwas abwechslungsreicher sein.Die Wirtin ist sehr nett.

Pleasant surroundings, helpful staff and a small but interesting menu of regional dishes were just what we were after. We had goats cheese wrapped in speck on a fresh green salad, followed by beef medallions with a local varietiy of mushroom in a creamy sauce, and a selection of vegetables, with croquettes on the side. All very tasty and well-presented.

Follow signpost from waters edge to this Restaurant. It looks quite small from the outside, but there are tables outside and in the garden.Menu is in German and the servers (who it would be fair to say are not in the first flush of youth) don't speak any English, but we were still able to communicate.We ordered two Schnitzel with fries and two small bottles of mineral water. We had about a 20 minute wait, during which time we saw several, obviously local, people come in and collect take-aways.When the food arrived it was freshly cooked, tasty and generously portioned.The total cost for two came to just under 15 Euro which seemed very reasonable.Recommended

We recently stayed here on a bicycle trip along the Danube. We came in soaked because it had rained on us all day, and the hotel owner greeted us and immediately gave us our room. The room was actually a 2 room suite, with wonderful views of the valley. It was warm, the beds were very comfortable, and it had everything we needed to dry our clothes out for the next day's ride. We ate in the restaurant that evening, and were not disappointed. The food was excellent, but the wine was some of the best we've had. It was very romantic, and they put us in the back room at the back booth, which we loved. The breakfast, which was included, was very good, with more than everything we needed.
