2018 BEST REGIONAL RESTAURANT (WINERY) The Advertiser Newspaper Food Awards FINO is the epitome of progressive regional dining. It is nestled amongst the grand palm trees of the Barossa within the recently rejuvenated grounds of the Seppeltsfield estate.
The wait staff here were absolutely terrific, genuine and helpful. The courses are all sharing courses, which is something we hadn't come across before. However that wasn't a problem and the food and flavours were definitely different to the usual. We had the Wagyu pastrami, the Brussel sprouts and the very special Fino cassoulet - which is apparently only available in the month of August. All washed down with a delicious glass or two of an excellent Laughing Jack shiraz. Great lunch at a famous winery in a restaurant with lots of buzz. Great place for a fun lunch with good friends.

Food, wine, luxury accommodation and a genuine welcome await. Just one hour from Adelaide and set atop a gentle hill, Appellation at The Louise is highly regarded as one of Australia's finest restaurants led by chef Daniel Murphy. With a passion for real,
The decor of the restaurant and adjoining lounge is understated and elegant. We found the staff all friendly and very knowledgeable. The food was brilliant and we loved each course, portions are small but by the end we were certainly full and very satisfied. The extra touches are very thoughtful and added to our dining experience.

We came to the Greenock pub as first choice El Estanco was closed on Tuesday. What a pleasant surprise. It was a freezing cold day but we sat in the bar in front of the open fire and became toasty quite quickly. The food was a little slow coming out given the few customers but the schnitzel and pizza were super tasty and big serves. Would return an recommend. Thanks 284Cathyreview for taking the time to leave this lovely feedback! We're really glad you got the chance to give us a try and are even happier that you enjoyed it! Thanks for the recommendation and we hope to have you back in again soon!

We visited with another couple for the 7 course tasting menu with luxury wine matching.Including the tasting to start it actually ends up being about 15 plates all with wonderful presentation. The service was great and the flavours were distinct and yummy. My Husband loves meat so his only minor complaint was only 1 course had mammal but I really canât fault anything.

This was not a pleasant experience. Firstly I will admit my wife was hungry and ate her entire dish and said the mussels tasted good. Unfortunately my dish of beans, scrambled eggs and ground corn chips was underwhelming. Scrambled eggs were over cooked. However the main issue was the stench from the mussels! Both myself and my daughter were dry reaching over the smell as was another diner whose friend had similar. It was likely done in a fish sauce but was so unpleasant that I have ordered my wife to never order that sort of dish again!

Friendly hotel staff with ghostly tales to tell. No ghosts seen or felt on this occasion. This hotel is the original hotel where Sydney Kidman used to conduct his horse sales, so there is some very interesting history associated with this hotel. A lovely mural in the front bar of Mr Kidman is well worth a look. The meal was good, I would recommend the vegetables as your side dish, rather than the salad; the salad seemed very small compared to the excellent well cooked veggies, including broc, cauli, zuch, beans, corn etc.
