Ordered Oysters Natural and Oysters Kilpatrick, both were still frozen when they arrived at the table and they were said to be from "Coffin Bay"....hmmm not too sure about that.......the Kilpatrick were floating in Worcester Sauce stained cold water - yuk!! Next; Whiting, chips and salad - straight out of a box of pre-prepared frozen fish. Very disappointing. Sorry but can't recommend for seafood. Such a shame considering the location right on the waterfront at the Jetty - magic location for sunset. Didn't try the "curry" so can't comment.

At the time I wrote this review, this place is listed as being in Western Australia. I can assure you that it is actually on the Bass Highway in the very scenic little village of Derby in Tasmania's North East. We stopped here for some light refreshments and a break from driving. My friend ordered a toasted sandwich which was beautifully garnished with strawberries and fruit and greens, my friend said it was the best toasty she had ever eaten. I had a plate of chips again nicely presented and tasty. A great strength of this place is the genuine country hospitality we experienced and the owner couldn't do enough for us. They had a small amount of local, home made produce such as jams for sale and are happy to make you a hot chocolate etc if you don't feel like alcohol or soft drink. It was a one person operation when we visited so there was a little bit of a wait, but well worth it.

Mt Barnett Roadhouse offers both petrol & diesel fuel & a range of groceries, ice-creams & take-away food with eftpos facilities & an ATM. A great half way stop for travellers on the Gibb River Road.Staff a friendly & helpful. Tables & chairs outside as well as good toilets & public phone (telstra phone card)Pay for Manning Gorge camping here.

Stayed at the accommodation provided by Willare Roadhouse. It's like mine site lodging, comfy bed, small bathroom with toilet n shower. Aircon and a beer fridge. Very clean and tidy. I had a family room Queen and single bed. $120/night. My son Darcy works as a Ringer for Yeeda Pastoral, whom own the Roadhouse. They gave it to me half price. Emily the Manager of Roadhouse is an exceptional person doing a unreal job running the Roadhouse. Terrific Chef Rob, cooking great meals. Thoroughly enjoyed everyone's company who worked there. Paul the maintainance bloke put me on live Cherabin for Barra fishing. Rohan, Emily's husband took me fishing, we caught 4 small Barra behind Yeeda cattle yards. Top People there. Jack Burton has a great crew working for him.CheersDicko

The food here is fantastic !! We ate here twice for dinner and also had breakfast.Lamb pasta and Gnocchi was delicious, chips are pretty awesome too.Service is very efficient and friendly. I would highly recommend eating here. Literally across the road from the Spinifex

A work colleague recommended I try the Tiramisu. Limited time meant I could only stay to try the Tiramisu and it was fantastic, along with the service!
