A disappointing dinner here. Not many people dining while we ate and the reason is that the food although reads well does not stack up.We ordered the spring rolls which was only 1 for $7,which was very good but had to order a second as it was not enough for 2 people. We found the dishes we ate were pumped up with onion and capsicum and the sauces stodgy. Service was good as it should have been considering there werent many diners. The Tepanyaki restaurant also shares the same room with a smaller annex doing the Tepanyaki. A forgettable meal.

Average, too quiet, and mossy not good - bitten to death !Wasn't as 'glamorous' as some of the photos on here alude and was very quiet.The garden was bit too dark.... as for the mosquitos !!!

I had researched this restaurant before arriving in Mauritius, it was also recommended by a local business man who we rented an appartment from. Two minutes from our apartment and we were there, it doesnt open until 6pm but does offer breakfast from a window. The service in here was fast and efficient, we had food in front of us within 8 minutes fro ordering the fresh whole fish is a must worth waiting 20 minutes for, curries all bursting with flavour with a good selection of drinks. The breads were made fresh and the food tasted amazing. If you are lucky enough to find yourself in Flic en Flac and want to try awesome tasty food this is the place. On the way back from the beach walked passed Le Marmite Mauricienne.Decided to book a table for later on that evening. This place had been recommended to us by some friends, so we were keen to sample the menu. We were greeted by very friendly staff. From the outside the place is not posh or ostentatious, it looks and feels very authentic, no airs and graces here-which is kind of what we want on holiday. The menu was very extensive, so much so that the waiter offered us advice. There is a European option which looked and sounded great but it was the real Mauritian cuisine that we were after. We were not disappointed. Portions were huge and tasted great. I'm not one for hot food, my husband is and he was given extra piment hot sauce with his dish.Our daughter was more than content with her chicken burger, fries and salad.My fruit de mer with fried rice was amazing and very filling.We did have to walk the dinner off as we were all so full and had to take a doggy bag. Were also given extra hot sauce to take home. All in all a very pleasant place. Staying at Hilton Spa so decided to eat at the restaurant.Staff were very welcoming and atmosphere was lovely.Food was pleasant but we felt a little over priced. Worth a visit but know you will be paying a bit more for the pleasure. Thai green chicken curry was tasty as was the satay stater that I had. Nice little bbq chicken pre starter. Worth 3.5 stars !

Cilantro - japanese and indian restaurant at the territorty of Maradiva villas resort and spa near Flik-en-Flak . There are two halls, one for indian cuisine, another one for japanese teppan. Originally japanese chef cooked on teppan beef and lobster. Not bad. But I was in Japan, at Kyoto, at original teppan restaurant and I feel the difference! Cilantro, japanese section was not confirm my expectation. And the cost! Around 200 euro for two! Too much!

Today I visited pakbo restaurant for dinner and order many tasty food. crispy fried calamari is best starters I had today.For main course I order tandoori chicken with rice taste of yummy with indian flavour.Later i order lava cake which is must try dessert.I recommend everyone who visit Filc en FLAC if they are looking for good restaurants indian, veg, non-veg, Chinese and sea food can try Pakbo Restaurant for dinner lunch ot breakfast.Car parking is also available.

We visited Sugar Beach in September and wow where we surprised with all the upgrades and new offerings.The Buddha bar is amazing with great new menu and food offerings. Our kids had drinks there everyday.Thanks to the staff for making our time memorable at Buddha Beach Bar..We will be back
