When this restaurant was Nila & New Nila it was our favourite Indian restaurant serving Kerala style food. We visited Friday as we realised we had not been in since it reopened again. We have only ordered takeaway & enjoyed it.We arrived around 1830 & received a friendly greeting & we're offered our choice of seating. The host was a lovely lady who was happy to talk with us & explained that thier food is Northern Indian style. We asked about various dishes & as my wife was in the mood for fish asked if one of the dishes could be adjusted to her taste. She was happy to accommodate & called her husband (the chef). He was happy to adjust the recipe & very helpful with recommendations on which rice & breads would go best with our choices.For starters we chose Tandoori mushrooms & goat kebabs. Both were full of flavour & my wife was loath to share the goat with me. Main course I had the Lamb Kaali Mirch Ka Kissa & my wife had the Machi Ki Duchi (creamy fish curry) spiced up to ï¸ï¸ï¸. I am not really a fish lover but tried the sauce & loved it. (I think it would be great with chicken). The lamb was tender & full of peppery flavours but not overpowering. My wife had the Kulfi dessert (I was full) & said that it was the best she had ever had. This is a big complement as she used to work in India & can be fussy about Indian dishes having tasted the real food. She was offered the Kulfi dish when she had finished which is a nice touch. Overall view. Great food, attentive but not intrusive service. Don't let the location put you off. We will definitely be back again soon.

I was working in the area and staying at the PremierInn the other side of the motorway.The pub next door serves mainly food from a microwave mainly and 45/50 minutes wait every night so looked for somewhere local with good fresh food rated well on here and came across this fab place.It was 3/4 of a mile walk for us each way but well worth it.We visited 3 days on the trot and every meal was fresh,tasty and well presented.Always greeted nicely by friendly staff(Think his name was Jack) anyway good lad.Well worth a visit. Great food. I know I will once back up there working.Thank you for the wonderful review. We look forward to serving you again soon, please continue to share your Delhi Nights experience with your friends and family.

A group of us had a really nice evening here. The food was very good and so was the service. A nice modern in style restaurant gives a good alternative to the traditional local curry house that still has '70s decor. Very modern, really like it here.

1st visit to this restaurant & both of us enjoyed the food & service. We will definitely come back here as we thought the food was of a good quality & very authentic. Couldnât fault the service even thou even we did struggle to understand the chap who served us. We had a prawn & a scallop dish for starters & both of us had different prawn dishes for mains. Prices were reasonable as well.

We regularly visit this restaurant for their brilliant 4 course menu deal! Excellent value for money and brilliant quality food. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, the staff are lovely and always helpful. We will continue to visit as it's ideal for our group of friends and always great value.

Travelled from chesterfield 14 mile each way, well worth it, poppadoms and pickle tray different from other restaurants but much nicer! Starters lovely, fresh bhajis makes a change to taste fresh onion and not crust over cooked ones, mixed kebab starter very nice flavours! Mixed kharai was very nice as was chicken balti tikka masala ! Naan breads good, could have done with a little more garlic but thats personal preference! Over all an excellent mel and will return thankyou !
