We ordered a takeaway for 7 to celebrate the beginning of 2018. Everyone ordered starters & main courses-everything was correct & the food was hot on arrival. The complimentary poppadoms were well received-thank you. The food was really good-we would especially recommend the starter "Malai Murgh".

Called in a small group, booked for 07:30. Was quite busy but there seemed to be plenty of staff. Took a while to get served, waiters confused between themselves who was doing what. Eventually got drinks and and waiting what seemed an age for food. Despite other tables coming in after us. Tried the lamb kharai, wasnât good at all. No taste, not much sauce, no vegetables just really bland. Hungry so ate it. Then took what seemed like an eternity to get the bill. The staff were like amateurs and very junior, quite rude how they collected plates and lent over you too whilst they scraped them. Better places to go, give this place a miss.

We were camping in the village for a few nights and were advised by a fellow camper about how good this place was and my goodness he was right.Excellent Chinese food, freshly cooked to order and very fairly priced.The husband and wife team running the place work incredibly hard and were very busy.Loved the food here.Absolutely brilliant.

We liked this place so much on our first visit we took our friends there on Saturday evening. We got a very warm welcome on arrival by the friendly staff and it just got better from there. I, as usual, asked for the hottest âsensibleâ curry and boy did they deliver. Hot, full of flavour, not just hot curry powder. The other more ânormaâ members of our group chose from the menu and were equally impressed. Shame I donât stay in Skipton every weekend otherwise it would be curry Friday through Sunday. Meat Samosa, shami kebab, sheek kebab and onion bhaji all tasted beautiful and were thoroughly enjoyed along with the curryâs. BTW. Donât let the menu fool you, they do do chapattiâs

Visited today for lunch having never been before. Absolutely top marks for value for money £6.99 for a 3 course meal. Service was excellent from a very nice delightful and attentive young lady Such a shame that the Restaurant is to close on the 31st of August having just found it still I believe it is staying open for takeaways but unfortunately I don't live very close

I ate here along with 3 work friends and had a great time. Two of us shared the sizzling starter and a pickle tray. Only slight let down was no lime pickle but overall it was ok. I had the lamb Maza and lemon rice and it was good. It tasted really good but the lamb wasn't as tender as some other lamb dishes I've had but this didn't spoil the meal. I fancied something different and wasn't disappointed and would really recommend it. The service was top notch and I couldn't fault the team that work there. I think the bill came to just over £50 which was excellent value.

We came here rather late one evening, about 20 minutes before the kitchen closed. The service, once they agreed to still serve us, was very friendly. The food was rather tasteless, and I certainly have had better Chinese food. However, the prices were also very reasonable.

We went this evening to celebrate my wifeâs birthday. Greeted with bigs smiles and the offer to choose our own table. We chose to sit in the bay window. After our drinks arrived, our menu options were taken, we opted for the menu for two at £18.50. The food arrived very promptly.Great value with a shared mixed starter, followed by jasmine rice, green chicken curry, beef ginger curry and fried vegetables. All cooked to perfection and extremely tasty. Will definitely go again.Despite me not making a big issue as a birthday reservation we were presented with a dessert to share, very nice touch and on the house.

We visited 15th July, we had not booked in advance.The restaurant was quite busy and there was a buzz about the place.We were shown to a table and the waiter took our drinks order.When the drinks arrived our friend tasted her white wine spritzer and she thought the tonic water in the drink was flat(no fizz) she asked the waiter if he would change her drink and his response was I have just opened a new bottle of tonic!He took her drink away and returned with another drink and a Small bottle of tonic! I wonder what happened to the new bottle he told us he had just opened!!!!!!We ordered our meal. and I thought the staff were very cool towards us !Our food was good but the attitude of the staff spoiled our meal.We had been to Mustabs many time before and had enjoyed our visits. But we shall not be returning to Mastabs.
