Went for an impromptu Chinese on our first evening in the area as the weather was cold and raining.Seated and served quickly and the portions are big enough to share. All tasted good but the beef in the âbrown sauceâ and broccoli was a bit low quality.

We actually ate there twice for convenience, so the food was not bad at all. It is just not nearly as great as the reviews indicate. Good fish, but not all of it expertly cut. Good rice, but nor great. Reasonable rolls, but not inspiring. In NYC it would rank as a pretty average place. I often regret that there is no grade b/w average and very good ( I think there should be), that is what the place deserves.

This is the first time we have eaten at Chengs in several years. The last few times we ate at Chengs the food and selection was poor. The restaurant looked dated. Now, Chengs food quality has improved. Some of the furniture has been updated. There is a slightly better selection of items. Otherwise, Chengs is the average Asian buffet. One of the idiosyncrasies of Chengs is that payment must be made prior to seating, but the diner can leave a cash tip on the table when leaving the restaurant. The servers were very attentive and quickly cleared any used plates. By the time we finished our meal the restaurant was filled to capacity. The food selections are the usual selections found at the Asian buffets. The location of Chengs is not obvious. It is onshore on the northside of Route 47 North, just west of the Shop Rite Plaza. It is behind a row of storefronts that are on Route 47.

Restaurant quality has really declined. Brown rice was very hard and dry. White rice was gummy. Shrimp egg roll mostly cabbage and tasteless. Egg Foo young bland. Very disappointed last few times I visited. If you eat here, stick to a veggie dish with a clear sauce. The veggies were good. I know longer recommend No 1 Chinese Kitchen. Not the same since Jack Ma left. Regulars ( hopefully ) will get the joke. Counter help could be more attentive.

Din here on Saturday afternoon and there are lunch special. Good price. Consider the distance to camping ground, and on way to ocean.

We go to Wildwood every year and every year Momiji is on our list of restaurant musts. It is just a short drive down Rio Grande over the bridge. The food is excellent, and there is never a long wait, unlike many of the best restaurants in Wildwood. The chefs are very entertaining if you like hibachi, and the sushi is fantastic and fresh too! It's worth the drive!
