We sat cantine side outdoors which has a pared down menu compared to regular side. Great patio atmosphere. Service was good, little slow but it was busy.We had the Singapore curry noodles- tasty but too much sauce. Tao chicken was sweet and spicy with side of white rice. Order of chicken and beef skewers were the stars! Freshly cooked. Great flavours. Eat here. Cool neighbourhood.

Located in downtown Quebec, TORA-YA RAMEN prepares delicious ramen served in a broth with love and care. You will also find a variety of dishes and Tsumami (Japanese tapas) from the traditional izakaya bistros. We also serve sake, beer, wine and alcohol-f
Having eaten ramen in bigger cities (NYC etc) Iâve had really good ramen. this place has good reviews and always had a line outside. Tables turn over pretty quickly. Service was super friendly. They do have a menu in English (just not on their website). Had gyoza and ramen. Both were just average. It would probably be my go to place since there are not many options in the area. Hello Melissa G,Thank you for taking the time to write this review and for your appreciation of our friendly service. Sorry that you found our ramen and gyoza just average, as we pride ourselves in serving products just like in Japan, since our chef Miyano and staff are from Japan. Thus we work with Japanese standards :-)Hopefully we will see you again - perhaps you'll want to try our kara-age (BBQ chicken) next time?Arigato,FG

Dined with my wife and her parents. Service was very slow and my mother-in-law didn't receive the dishes that she'd ordered. A bigger issue was the actual food that was provided; the menu is very broad and includes Cambodian, Thai, Vietnamese and "Asian" dishes. The outcome was lacking in flavour and bland; not representative of the fantastic cuisines that those countries are famous for. Maybe the great flavours have been watered down to meet the demands of the palates of Canadians but somehow I doubt that given the fantastic Asian foods that we experienced in Toronto. Either way - if you like authentic South East Asian cuisine, this place is to be avoided. We are very sorry if there was a mix-up with your order. We strive to give our customers the best service possible, but mistakes happen. Our cuisine is staffed with Cambodian family members with decades of cooking experience. Unfortunately, not every palate will be pleased with our dishes. It is unfortunate you did not enjoy your meal. Best wishes.

We were fortunate enough to be brought to the sushi box by local friends who knew just how good it was. We were seated inside, (outdoor seating is also available) and we were served without being rushed. We started with tempura vegetables which were crisp, hot, fresh and accompanied by a delicious spiced dip and we followed with a mix plate of sushi roles and tuna sashimi. Good wine and good company made this a great night.
