Went last night with 7 friends - the first time for all of us, even though we live locally. First of all Iâll put my cards on the table and say â I donât like chain restaurants/ pubs. Then another thing thatâs off putting is menus that feel like they could do with either replacing or a good wipe. The food here isnât bad itâs just average. It is a little expensive for what you get and yes the portions are small. It was a pleasant evening but now Iâve been thatâll do for me. Ordered a Chicken Tikka Massala and Prawn Kurma with a Pilau rice as a takeaway. First the good, the food quality was great, taste was delicious and even the rice was fragrant and delicious.However, the chicken tikka masala was extremely red due to food colouring and the rice was very small. For £3.25 I have to say I felt ripped off with a portion of rice that wouldn't even satisfy one person. Most restaurants would give a quantity enough for 2.Good food, normal issues. If cost isn't an issue and you don't mind food colouring, 100% recommended!

Even after a few drinks and a full Vietnamese lunch we decided to pop here for dinner. Wow! Staff are fantastic and the food was incredible. I eat out a lot and find it very difficult to give eateries a five star but this was 100% five stars

Visited last night after arriving late in Southsea. Lovely restaurant with a nice atmosphere and great staff. Most Indian restaurants have similar menus but this one has lots of specials I have never seen before and we will definitely go back and try some others.

Once again, we needed somewhere to eat Indian food. After extensive searching in Portsmouth, we came across this gem. Checked to other reviews, the pictures, Google maps and Street View. Looks good. Large tasty portions to please the most hungry of customers. Are a bit busy on the Friday evening but if you are in a car look for the Shoppers Car Park. It's off a side street opposite the restaurant. Free after 6pm.
