A small Asian restaurant nestled into a cozy court yard at the Lookout Centre in Plettenberg Bay. We serve lovely, fresh, healthy food e.g. Dim Sums, Pork Belly Bao Buns, Beef and Chicken Teriyaki, Tuna,Salmon and Veg Poke Bowls and delicious Asian Ribs.

Just off Main rd in the Lookout Centre you will find this delightful Asian restaurant tucked away in the courtyard. Beautiful eclectic decor, intimate and a fabulous cozy room hidden in the back. The courtyard will be magnificent on a warm night. The menu is small but cater for all tastes. A smaller menu also means everything is fresh and not precooked or frozen. Going up to Beacon island hotel and finding a shadey place up on the sun deck is never a chore, the views are fantastic.. central beach and Plett can be viewed it's just a lovely. Park yourself down and you will be attended to by one of the lovely waitresses, a comprehensive menu of food drinks light meals pizza's are all available. A bottle of Protea Sauv is our drink of choice followed by a really good pizza, bacon sandwich or a slightly healthier salad...the food the wine the setting and the sun ...everyone a winner.!

Pura Vida enjoys a marvellously unique setting, perched high above the prettily lit Main Street of Plettenberg Bay, and overlooking the marvellous Formosa Bay. It is partially covered with canvas, and partly open to the clear night skies (if, like us, you are lucky!). On a clear night the ambience here is unbeatable. The decor is stylish in its simplicity, with plenty of plants and candle-light, and the cocktail bar is colourful and visually exciting. The music is vibey and young. The food is simple Asian, very very tasty - we had Chinese noodles and Chow Mein, which was specially prepared for us. We will most definitely visit again, and hope to taste their sushi.
