Tamura Japanese Seafood

A large, fixed price, buffet restaurant featuring an excellent selection of foods from Japan and China including snow crab legs. Reasonably priced drinks and good, friendly service. With only a spoon, fork and chopsticks provided some of the offerings were a bit of a challenge to eat but delicious all the same.So why the 3 star rating? On our visit we had some concerns about food hygiene. For example, the top of the ice cream cabinet was encrusted with muck and looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned for some time. We could only hope that hygiene in the kitchens was better!

Ricky Thai Bistro

Four of us were there for dinner on a Sat night. It was packed and we waited about 20 minutes. We had VDg Spring Rolls which could be a little less greasy, but they were tasty. The main courses were excellent. Pad Woon Sen veggies, Pad woon sen shrimp, Massaman curry vegs, and fried rice veggies.

Panya Thai

So, it was terrible weather and I’d gotten an alert my power had gone out. The last thing I wanted to do after a busy day at work was have to restock the fridge...so I decided to order delivery.I’d looked at Panya Thai’s menu many times and come close to ordering. Today I finally did. I ordered the chicken pad Thai and an order of pork fried rice. Now, I’ve had good Thai food and I’ve had bad...and this was bad.Let’s start with the pad Thai. First, considering I’d ordered chicken pad Thai, I was surprised by how little chicken there actually was in it. The next thing you notice is THE SMELL. This thing stinks to high heaven...even as I write this review. It smells like an elephant exhibit at the zoo. I nearly vomited...no joke. There wasn’t much else in the pad Thai either. 2 or 3 small pieces of diced scallion and peanut dust. I don’t even think the noodles are “pad Thai” noodles. They’re more like rice spaghetti. For $14, I can get better chicken pad Thai elsewhere. Now, the pork fried rice was more enjoyable and I was able to finish that. It certainly wasn’t the best but it was ok. Big chunks of pork (very different from Chinese pork fried rice) but again, not much else in it.This meal overall was a disappointment and I will not be ordering from them again. The best part of this entire thing was the (UberEats) delivery guy who delivered to my door with a smile on his face even though it was pouring outside.

Sushi Runner Miami Lakes

Sushi Runner was created in 2002 in Florida, breaking away from the traditional model of Japanese restaurants. In 2017 they began to expand quickly, opening new locations all over the U.S. Sushi Runner’s aim is to provide the best service in the industry

I am going to look at this place from a little bit different perspective. I am going there not to buy sushi but rather regular chicken or beef. It is not very obvious to new customer but this place has a double name - Sushi Runner and Chicken Runner. Majority of the customers are going exactly for sushi but they have another menu where you can have grilled chicken or beef. It is pretty good, size of the chicken, by parts, is more substantial then you can find from Pollo Tropical for example. And food taste great. The only problem could be a waiting time, but overall, food is great - 5 stars for that kind of installations.
