It is a part of the municipality of Waterland, and lies on the coast of the IJsselmeer, about 8 km (5.0 mi) southeast of Purmerend. It received city rights in 1355 and suffered a lot of damage during the fires of 1500 and 1513.

The place is nicely decorated and the service is friendly and efficient. But you have to be patient, because it takes a long time before you get your dishes on the table.On the other side, when you are finished and want to enjoy the nice atmosphere a little longer, nobody is rushing you. The food is tasty and well prepared. Take the day's special which is always very good. The prices are not high, but you have to pay extra for side dishes and you just cannot do without.But I can absolutely recommend this restaurant.

I had a wonderful dining experience in this great new Asian restaurant, located at the marina in Volendam. The staff is very friendly. They have a great choice of sushi and other delicious Asian bites. Loved all the sushi and grilled skeelers, especially the wafu steak! i Will definately come back to taste the rest of the menu.

Been coming to this restaurant for years. It has take away as well as a la carte. A five minute walk from the centre close by the football ground and you'll experience the nicest Chinese food one the planet. On the picture is buffet at the table. Everything here is nice. The duck is my favourite. Worth the slight detour to enjoy this.
