Willmar has seriously nothing when it comes to dining. I mean there's a few; but not much. After searching TripAdvisor for a place to go, I rode around town a bit, and then decided to drop into Perkins. They seem to be alright; right?My first question was "is your hollandaise sauce homemade?" The answer was "no." There are others Perkins where it is. So slash that idea. I decided on the salmon. You can't mess that up right? WRONG! It was terrible! My second bite was RAW! I grabbed my waitress, who then grabbed someone else and he proceeded to tell me "yeah that doesn't look right."Perkins I am very disappointed!!!

We had worked all day drove 3 hours checked into our hotel and walked over to get a bite and beer. Service was good as was the food. It's nice that it's right next to the Super 8. Especially if you chose to walk over for a few drinks.

We've been to Pizza Ranch locations all around the state and this is the best of the best! They put about three times the meat and veggies on the gluten free pizza as compared to other PR locations. The salad bar was so yummy and the pizza came put piping hot and tasting great! The employees were super friendly too. We are so glad we stopped!!

My wife and I were sightseeing between Spicer and Willmar and stopped in for a late lunch.First off, the geographical location is beautiful: lush country, blue lake, tree-lined surroundings, made all the more picturesque on a bright, breezy summer day.We went upstairs to the restaurant and grabbed a table with a great view.The Barkeep/Server, Sarah N, was a blur of efficiency who left no one - including us - unattended.My wife had a Chipotle Turkey Burger and loved it. I had a pan-fried, Walleye Po Boy which was cooked perfectly and was delicious. I washed it down with a tap Blue Moon.We both ordered a vegetable side of steamed yellow squash, zucchini, red pepper, and onions.We left sated and satisfied

Well to me when I walked in I had a flashback from when I was a kid it felt like a Sambos. Yes that was a restaurant. They were purchased by Dennyâs in Southern California. Well enough of the history, food was good service was great. Iâm sure this mom-and-pop restaurant gets overlooked due toPerkins across the street. But go and feel the history.

Frieda's Cafe is a fantastic family-owned restaurant in the heart of downtown Willmar. Friendly service, great prices, good food, and excellent location. The restaurant attracts locals who have eaten here for years. My son had french toast, I had bacon, eggs, toast, coffee, and we shared a giant cinnamon roll. Bill? $9.35! It's a cozy spot with a counter and only about eight tables. We shared our table with three retirees and had a wonderful conversation. Frieda's couldn't have been more perfect for these two city slickers out looking for small town Americana.

The atmosphere of this bar and grill is quite nice but the food choices arenât particularly unique. Thankfully there are lots of local beer selections so my colleague and I overall enjoyed our meal.The other hotel restaurant is quite nice so those staying at the hotel will have sufficient choices during their stay.

We sat at the bar. We enjoyed the two bartenders quite a bit. We ordered 3 different meals. All of us thought the food was excellent. Really enjoyed dinner and the bartenders. It has been at least three years since out last visit here. Just seemed to get out of that habit. This was a great visit. The food is good, the menu has some added items but the best was the service. Our server was awesome, interactive, interested in us, attentive and very efficient
