Amazing drink selection with $5 martinis, fun and very large bloody marys. The Lemon Drop was spectacular, no too sweet, not too sour, sassy perfection. They have a great on tap selection including Tito's weekly feature on tap. Large wrap around bar with a few tables. Great music and good service. We enjoyed

With the continuation, revolution of the food industry some places are stepping it up a notch and adding a bit of presentation and twist to their offerings. This place is your “plain Jane” type of restaurant, very old school and blasé. I wanted a side of avocado... none, jalapeños... none, Little cilantro... you get it. Very basic menu options and they don’t steer off from it.Waitress was pleasant, food service was fast. The quality of food would be typical of what you would get at a Perkins or Denny’s.

Chilkoot Cafe & Cyclery

Reviewed By adrianbM5044UV

Chilkoot has been our family’s mainstay for brunch after we attend church. Over the past few years, we’ve enjoyed organic and delicious food from the cafe and always looked forward to a great cup of coffee. Unfortunately we have noticed some turnover in the kitchen and that has caused a variety of issues during the past year or so. The main problems have been around wait times, meal portion consistency and running out of ingredients to make Chilkoot’s menu items. A good example of this came about this morning. We arrived to the cafe about 10:40, waited in line to place our order and then had to stand and wait for a table to open. Luckily a couple finished up a few minutes later and we sat down just before 11:00. There was not enough staff to clear our table so we picked up the dishes and asked for a rag to wipe our table down. We settled in and waited another 40 minutes until our food arrived. There were a couple of small mistakes (wrong ingredients in a fritada, burnt bacon, forgotten syrup for French toast.) None of these mistakes were overly concerning, but it does show that the kitchen team is understaffed and rushing through the orders. As the title suggests, our favorite little cafe has made a turn towards the worse over the past year. I know the owner takes a lot of pride in his business so I hope that things pick up soon.

My husband and I enjoyed the inventive (but overpriced) cocktails here! He had the Pecan Smoked Bourbon Whiskey which comes with a mallet to break a spherical ice cube that’s filled with smoke. I had the Double Entendre Martini which is fun because the drink “melts” cotton candy. He enjoyed the Mushroom Fontina Burger. I had the Poutine which was okay. Overall it was a fun experience.

After biking the Stillwater area, we wanted to find a new place to celebrate our 38th anniversary. Dock Cafe was perfect! We got a table along the river on their patio. And the bottle of Reisling and the seafood entrees were very tasty! The free hot fudge sundae from our server really topped it off - since we love ice cream.

Serves Breakfast All Day & The Best Burgers in the Valley!

Reviewed By DMGWisconsin

We had wanted to try this place for while and finally made a point to do it. We were terribly disappointed. It was a beautiful day so we sat outside. That was very nice. Our waitress at first was really on the spot and very friendly. She immediately brought water and said she would be back with our beverages. A group of four sat next to us, and the server doted on them. She got their drinks and took their food order. It was not until I said something about our drinks that she came over and then said she forgot about us. She took our food order and then said she would bring out drinks. Our food arrived before the people next to us, thankfully. Had it not, we were going to walk. She offered 1 free mimosa but not of us were drinking alcohol so we found that odd. Our bill came the same time the people next to us. In 5 minutes she was back taking their bill and never acknowledged us. After waiting 15 minutes, I walked inside to pay my bill. I was looked at many times but never acknowledged. When I said something about paying my bill I was told my server would take care of it, very rudely. I explained we had waited 15 minutes already and were ready to leave. I was told i had to wait for our server. I then told the person, that we would be leaving and if they wanted to get paid they would take the payment now. Finally, they took our payment. Just terrible experience. I have never seen such terrible service. Now the food, it was OK. All of the burgers are made well done and they would not make it any other way. My friend ordered one to try and it was dry and hard. Please, if you want good food and service, do not some here.

We stumbled upon this interesting restaurant on a quiet service road off the highway going into Stillwater. What a pleasant surprise! The restaurant resembles a cabin in the northwoods both inside and out. The food was superb and our server very pleasant and helpful. Prices were reasonable although drinks seemed a bit spendy. Whenever we are in the area again, this will be a must-return-to-restaurant for us. Average age seemed to be about 40 - no kids were there - and the piped in music while we dined was from the 1940s. Loved it!!!

This is such a fun place to eat! The hamburger was delicious and the fries were from fresh cut potatoes. My husband had a hot fudge sundae served in an old fashioned glass fountain dish. In addition to the great food the atmosphere takes you back to the good old days, when things were a little more gentle and kind. We sang along to the juke box music of the 50’s and 60’s and thoroughly enjoyed the trip back in time.

Drove 12 hours and arrived Stillwater searching for dinner around 8p. Wandered into Lolo. Waitress was super friendly and helped us weary travelers select items that weren’t too heavy and yummy. Watermellon beet salad was the best! Burger was lean and delicious. Thanks for a good first night!
