Kincaid’s Fisk, Chop & Steak House is a comfortable and relaxing establishment with excellent food. The dishes are all very generous portions. They offer Reservations, Parking is Available, Valet Parking is offered, the restaurant is Wheelchair Accessible, and There is a Full Bar. The service is warm and friendly not to mention very efficient. You will find any of the items on the menu a good choice. I personably highly recommend the Lobster Bisque. The location on the water adds a nice touch to the meal. You will like everything.

Server was great as was the view and the extensive beer on tap menu. Cioppino was not good. Scallops, mussels and clams were good. Shrimp were tough and likely from cooking all day. Calamari was so tough it was inedible. Broth was ok but lacking any real zing. Tons of seafood, though, and I could not finish even though I skipped some per above. Expensive. Won’t be back.

Wanted a comfortable spot to talk to a friend coming through town briefly; made a reservation easily online. Service was excellent and we talked and ate slowly without feeling rushed by wait person. Food is fine though not memorable. Nice drink selection. Attractive interior. Good location. Restaurant offers valet parking in area where on-street-parking is generally filled.

Visited for breakfast and had good results. Servers were very nice. Food was very good. Had the omelettes, and they were very tasty. Portions were huge—could not finish! A bit pricy for breakfast—3 adults and 1 child=$60, not including tip! It was good, but $60 for breakfast was a bit much!

We loved this place but the menu was disappointing. Then we found out that they'd had a kitchen fire so weren't at full menu. But the beer was great and the vibe was very "happening" with the best that Oakland can offer....young, old, families, pets, ethnic, racial, and gender diversity. Wonderful!

My adult daughters & I had dinner here on a Saturday night. It was loud & crowded, but the staff was friendly & worked hard to keep the food & drinks coming. We ordered the Not Mac & Cheese (very good, you would not have guessed it was butternut squash), burrata (deeelish!), carpaccio (very fresh), beet salad (goat cheese was perfect), & mussels (broth was garlic heaven). The place has an eclectic, funky vibe somewhere between a disco & an art exhibit. It was a little too loud for normal conversation, but fun.

Wood Tavern

It’s a small neighborhood restaurant that is adjacent to 2 other restaurants and a great bakery....I walk by when grocery shopping or grabbing some fresh croissants and coffee...catching glimpses of the food being served....it has a Wow factor! From attentive service to tasty, well conceived food. Make no mistake, this is tavern food .....elevated to contemporary upscale plateau. The flavours are not subtle and refined....we shared the Gnocchi 1st course....soft fluffy pillows balanced with cherry tomatoes, chanterelles, crunchy vegetables and subtle heat from chiles....The Halibut entree seemed to be most popular entree of the night seeing it on many adjacent tables...seared to a golden brown yet moist and tender inside, it sat on a bed of fresh corn .....the sauces were almost too strong over powering the fish essence...a fine line. My bone in pork chop was a generous portion, well seared yet lightly pink on the inside,,,,tender and moist. The bed of beans, andouille sausage and sauce was perfectly balanced with the pork chop. The peach marscapone dessert was good, but overshadowed by the excellence of the entrees....it’s kind of a noisy restaurant with an energetic ambiance...there is a small bar counter for single diners....good wine list. Service was A+
