This diner was across the street from our motel! People have raved about it to me, for YEARS! We don't have any, up North! We had portobello mushroom & cheese burgers one night! I kept seeing a ton of cars, so went & got us breakfast, too. Becky had a omlet on a biscuit, and blueberry biscuit for dessert. I had a sausage & cheese biscuit, with raisin, cinnamon biscuit, for dessert! We appreciated the nice, strong coffee! It was perfect & I love the southern hospitality! You gotta love all that Baby, Sweetheart stuff!'

The food is ok... one of the few places in town that serve meats and vegetables. The grill chicken is good. I had an experience with one rude employee, in particular. She waitresses sometimes and runs the register at other times. I asked if they had a senior discount (they do) and was told, âI donât know if we do or notâ with a giggle. At any rate, we were NOT given a senior discount. Her actions showed that she didnât find me important as a customer! I donât need to be treated like I was in this incident. Iâll spend my money elsewhere in the future.
A great variety in the menu. The food was hot and tasted good. Desserts are prepared daily. Staff was very friendly and attentive.

Very cold food, otherwise alright. Clean on the inside. Staff needs more training or manners training. Either way I was to hungry to barter or fuss.

Well when we got there we weren't impressed with the looks of the place but it had some decent reviews on TA so we were willing to give it a try.... service not great at all .... the food was pretty bad my husband ordered the ribeye and shrimp and he asked for 57 sauce (we never put sauce on our steaks) the 57 sauce had been watered down, we were afraid to bring the steak home to our dog that it might make him sick. The food was really overpriced and just not good at all. My husband said this was our 1st and only time out eating here.. we threw away 40.00 on some nasty food. Parking not great either.

This is a real, home town, old fashioned "beanery". Large portions, low prices, fairly good, quick food. This is not a gourmet restaurant, but you will be full and happy when you leave. The service is very good, and the waitresses are very nice.

Friends meet before golf. Friendly staff. Great food. Both very consistent. Booths a little tight. The waitress took our pics at Christmas time!

Stopped by late on a Sunday night with friends after a softball tournament. Chips and salsa were great and I was very pleased with my Hawaiian Burrito. Our service was outstanding and the floor manager took time to hang out and make us feel at home, even though we were their last table on a Sunday night. Iâve driven by this place many times but will definitely be back on future trips. Thanks for the hospitality and great food. See you again and we will leave âThe Grinchâ at Home next time.

Typical fried sea food restaurant. Although they do offer broiled but it took a lot longer.I would suggest the Flounder, Oysters, or Catfish. I've had them all and was pleasantly surprised at the flavor. ( got Scallops once and they had NO flavor at all ) Usual sides of cole slaw, fries, and hush puppies. Nice clean restaurant with casual atmosphere. VERY busy at lunch AND dinner but plenty of seating. Price is very affordable and lots for your $. Nice helpful wait staff and usually short waiting time. Will definitely re-visit !!!
