This place is amazing. They have the best macaroons I’ve ever tasted in my life, the milkshakes are amazing, the hot cocoa is so good (add the toasted marshmallow) also they have Cadbury chocolate that you normally can’t get in the U.S. and those chocolate bars are just as good as all the buzzfeed articles said. This place is all around amazing.

We enjoyed our first outdoor meal of 2019 on the deck overlooking the river. The food was good, but I would avoid the lettuce wraps (a do-it-yourself meal that was obviously designed by someone who does not order it). The kids liked their cheeseburger and mac and cheese, and the adult buffalo mac and cheese could feed two easily. Nice casual atmosphere, but will tend to draw the drinking crowd.

We ordered takeout and 2 meals were fine, cheeseburger and country chicken but unfortunately my meal left little to be desired. I ordered the steak tips and chicken fingers with fries. The menu calls for 1/2 pound of steak tips and a handful of chicken fingers. Well, the steak tips were 3 very small tips, one of which was so fatty I could not eat it, and the tips were less than they serve on the lunch portion of tips. The chicken was a few bottom of the barrel, tiny chicken fingers the seemed over cooked. On top of that the fries were soggy. I was not a happy camper for sure with this meal. I am glad that the other 2 meals seemed ok but I was left hungry. We want to sincerely apologize for the quality of your experience and would like to learn more. 2 Home Cooks is a fantastic spot for breakfast or lunch if you're in Dover, NH. Delicious and innovative dishes are everywhere on the menu, and the ingredients are as fresh as can be! Their omelets are heavenly, the bacon is thick-sliced, and the homemade biscuits are to die for!!! If you can, try to sit at the counter of the open kitchen and watch chef/owner Helen and her partner do their thing. Sandwiches, burgers and other homey dishes are available for lunch, and every item I've tasted has been just phenomenal. I try to eat at 2 Home Cooks at least once every time I visit Dover - it's that good!

Thirsty Moose Taphouse

Reviewed By chimayred

My wife recently asked me if there was one restaurant I’ve gone to in my life that could be within walking distance (weight gain was not factored in!) as a neighborhood Place what would I want it to be. We’ve been all over the world, we’ve eaten at five star restaurants like the French laundry and we’ve eaten at food trucks. Even though I kept thinking of better restaurants I couldn’t think of a place that I would want closer than the Moose. Why? Fantastic tap beer collection, superb pub food. Excellent wings, excellent burgers, And excellent Pizza. I can think of better pizzerias, better burger places fancier places better wine lists but I can’t think of a place that I can eat as often as frequently and not get bored of the food

The menu here is huge. Breakfast all day. Great choices of soups, sanwiches and salads for lunch. The servive was great. This location looks like it was once a Chili's or similar chain. When they renovated the front, they didn't do the rest rooms which really need to be spiffed up.

Newick's Lobster House

Reviewed By cinndee04

My husband and I happened to be traveling in New Hampshire when we decided to stop for an early dinner. We used Google to find out what was around and decided to check out Newick's. We couldn't have been happier we did. My husband really likes lobster so we found ourselves in a great place. The service, value and quality were all good. If we ever find ourselves in the area again, we would come back to this restaurant. We both enjoyed our meals.
