Many years back the restaurant inside the somewhat pretentious Ramada Inn in Del Rio, Texas was one of the better places to enjoy good food and a great buffet. These days I honestly feel that the only thing that remains is the pretentious atmosphere, but the good food and quality have dissipated significantly. I have some good memories that go years back eating at this restaurant. I don't remember if it was called Malinda back then, but I do recall it was a better overall place to eat in those times.

We were seated immediately and was asked before we sat down what kind of drinks we desired. The beverages was brought out immediately as well the menus. You can order anything off the menu, just note that you can only get certain veggies in the morning. Their is no free WiFi the bathrooms need some much needed renovations as well as the seats. The food was delicious and the staff was super friendly.

Very nice chain sports bar. Food was very good from a varied menu with something for everyone. Our server was outstanding. Very polite and helpful since this was our first visit. Plenty of seating in "family" or bar areas. Lots of TVs for any event. We will definitely return.

Eggs to order including omelets, all the breakfast meats you could want, biscuits and gravy, pancakes and waffles. They also serve menudo if you are into that. It's apparently good because they are constantly having to refill it. The cashier and wait staff are very friendly and attentive. I go every Saturday morning. The price is very reasonable. They also have salad and dessert bars.

When the old owners had Wrights the fried catfish was really good, with a nice cornmeal batter. Under the new owners the fried catfish has a thick nasty batter coating. If Wrighrts is going to compete with Cripple Creek and Manuels, they need to really step up their game and come up with some fresh new ideas and much better cooking methods.

They have burgers, tacos and everything in between! Great for families, couples, kids, and watching sports. We had The Big Boy Burger and the basic. Ask for the queso cheese sauce on your burger and you won't be disappointed.

Great restaurant in a new location: 14 Veterans Blvd, Del Rio, TX 78840. Expanded menu. Rustic, fun dining room. Excellent service. Great food. Great lunch menu with their famous fish tacos on Wednesdays.

No frills, no plates, just great bbq. Tried the green chili stew. Wow, great flavor with a little kick. Had the brisket and it is so moist and delicious. They have several sides to choose from and condiments and sauce. Cold beer and bottled pop on ice. Also fountain drinks are available.
