Now it is a bad sign at a seafood place when both the hostess and server said they dont really like seafood and could not make a recommendation. Chowder was a salty and lacked visible sea food. The seafood linguine had pleanty for sure and the duck was excellent. Maybe with the end of season staff is difficult to find but it definitely put is off that they did not seem to like the seafood options.

Very busy place, depending on when you visit obviously, but worth a look. I had the flounder sandwich and it was the best bit of fish I have ever tasted. My wife had the shrimp sandwich and she liked hers too.

On a day trip from Wrightsville Beach, we saw it on the way as we passed thru Carolina Beach and are glad we came back for lunch. Sitting back from the road with very little free parking, you almost feel like you are in a tree house as you climb the set of stairs to the small out side deck area. Inside is small also, but it has a homey, beachy, relaxing atmosphere with beer signs and surfboards hanging on the wall. My pulled pork BBQ sandwich and slaw were great as was my wife's seafood salad with shrimp. All the food and drink prices were very reasonable with $3 Landshark pints. Our waitress was excellent and we will be sure to stop here again in future travels.Thank you very much!!!

Local favorite for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Causal dining overlooking the Yacht Basin in the heart of Carolina Beach. Daily specials, seafood specialties and a full range of family fare.
Been coming to CB for 20 years and never saw. Looks small outside, clean nice family restaurant good prices, good food. Better than many of the better known names around town. Parking is limited. Worth the walk if needed.

I got the shrimp and grits which was delicious. My husband got the oyster poboy sub and he loved it. We got really good service and they were very friendly to our dog. We would go again, the outdoor area is really nice, comfy chairs and tables.

They have so many choices for pancakes and other options besides pancakes too. They give you lots of food. Honestly my husband and I probably could have ate off of just one plate instead of us each getting separate ones. Good service too.

My husband and I had "date night" at Surf House while visiting Carolina Beach. This is the second time we've had dinner at this establishment. We started with the raw oysters and fish pate. Both were fresh and beautifully presented. For our entrees, I had the fish of the day (Golden Tile) and my husband had the Pecan Crusted Catfish. Both were delicious and worth the price. Lovely cocktails and wine list too!

Cape Fear Boil Company is a locally owned seafood restaurant/caterer specializing in traditional NC 'Coastal Low-Country Boils' serving the Cape Fear region. Our steam 'Pot-To-Go' service also provides our acclaimed boil without the full service catering.
For our wedding day, we didnt hesitate going with Cape Fear Boil Co. to cater. Ty was exceptional with knowing what questions to ask and addressing food allergies with a few family members. He called a few days prior to the wedding to confirm everything and what Tim he he would be there. The food was perfect. So good, as the bride, i was first at the table to eat and i put an apron over my dress so i could dive right in. It was amazing! They supplied everything. All we had to do was eat up. For the price, the amount of food, and quality.... This was the the easiest decision for us. Highly recommend!! Thank you guys for great food and service!!!!
