Walked by many times, but never stopped for a meal before now. To seat outside for Labor Day weekend lunch be ready to wait for 20-25 min. They seat you outside and bring your drinks while waiting. Beautiful view from the porch overlooking Ogunquit sound. The salad was great and scallops as well, but not a clam chowder. They also should have brought the knifes to the table... It also pricey. Overall is good for a quick lunch with a view.

Quite simply the best lobster I’ve ever had! The 2 lobster special is not to be missed. It doesn’t even need the melted butter. Even the corn in the cob was outstanding. All for $24! Do Not Miss This. It’s a great rustic spot in Perkins Cove.

This is one of those classic beach-side stores that has everything you could ever need for your ocean vacation. My family has been stopping by Long Sands General Store for decades when visiting York Beach. We especially love their deli counter where you can get a freshly-made sandwich using quality Boar’s Head meats. They also have an ice cream window and other hot foods. If you’re on York Beach and you need something, Long Sand General Store has just about everything. So check it out.

Stopped here with friends after viewing the Nubble Lighthouse. The view from the dining area of the coast and the light house are beautiful. The food in the restaurant can only be described as average. Non-seafood selections are few, and seafood selections border on being best described as fast-food. If not for the location, I can't think of any reason to eat here.

Frankie & Johnny's Natural

We are locals and come here every year. This is the first time we have been seriously disappointed. We were asked three times if we had reservations. Um, yes. It was right there. The wait staff was totally discombobulated We were told the specials three times by different staff. The wait person literally looked at my husband with total disdain when he asked for another roll. Seriously? It was a roll. They were rude the whole night. We did not have our water refilled or asked if things were okay. The other tables were hanging out, but we were asked over and over if we were done. Totally rushed out. The salads were good. We loved them. The chowder had one scallop in it. It had great flavor, but really one scallop? (Or it could have been anything.) The tuna was not seared to industry standard. My daughter did not eat it and she knows her tuna. The chicken piccata had a few artichoke leaves (no discernible artichokes ), three olives, and no real lemon flavor. There were big unripe slices of tomato. They should have used lemon zest and way more lemon juice. The pasta was too thick and gummy. The seafood scampi was a disaster. Three mussels, lobster tail (best part), and a few shrimp. But, guess what? The shrimp were not deveined. That is DISGUSTING. We really hope this was an off night, but at those prices, I am not sure we will be back.

We stayed just up the street at an inn and this place was recommended. It was a short walk and we got right in and sat outside (they are first come first served). There were heaters on the porch so although it was chilly, we were plenty warm. The service was great, very personable. I had a seasonal sangria to drink. It was awesome. Not overly sweet which can be the case sometimes with sangria. We got a plantain chip app that was delicious. I had the wasabi tuna meal and my partner had the fish ad chips. We both agreed it was some of the best f/c we've ever had! After dinner we had a boozy coffee drink and shared the cheesecake which is made a local bakery. The blueberry compote was outstanding! The owner also happened to be outside on the porch chatting with customers and even brought out blankets for guests sitting outside. Game changer! He was very nice and personable as well. Our only hangup was that there was not a hot coffee drink on the menu so we asked them for a decaf with 2 different liquors and were charged $22 :( Overall a great spot that we will definitely revisit when in the area!Thank you for the review! We love sitting outside as often as we can and we love that our guests do too! We're so glad you enjoyed your visit with us and hope to see you back soon!

We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary and wanted something really special and Walkers was exactly that! From the moment you walk into Walkers you know you are in for a culinary experience. Beautiful place, excellent service and unsurpassed cocktails and food. We started with the cauliflower appetizer which was mind blowing; we used bread to soak up every last bit of juice, it was that good! No matter what you think of cauliflower, this appetizer is a must! My husband had a huge pork chop that was cooked to perfection served with potato salad, vegetables and grilled corn on the cob. I had the swordfish which was so tender, served over a mixture of tomatoes, cannellini beans and other veggies, herbs just an incredibly tasty combination. Can’t emphasize enough how the combination of flavors is so unique in all the dishes and like nothing you have ever had AND absolutely delicious!!Our server was incredibly knowledgeable and fully described all the dishes to make our choices easier. The drinks were also unique using many locally sourced ingredients. Born on A Farm gin and tonic was to die for; ruined any gin and tonic for me forever!!!Overall, an incredible experience; we can’t wait to go back!

The Union Grill and Pub

Our first choice wasn't open so the locals suggested we come here. The drive to the restaurant was very nice. When you get to the restaurant if you have to wait there is lawn furniture with a beautiful ocean view. There really isn't any parking. Mostly for hotel guests. There is metered parking. Both the grill and pub were super busy. I think a lot of people were scrambling for someplace to eat. After a short wait we were seated on the pub side (our choice). It was later in the evening and just wanted sandwiches. The food was presented very nice and served very warm which was impressive. I had the haddock rueben. Although served warm there was no flavor. I know haddock doesn't have much flavor but there was no flavor from the rest of the sandwich. My hubby had the crab cake sandwich. He did enjoy his. Waitress was okay but didn't pick up on more water, etc. Things were busy; maybe that's why. Not sure we would return.

This is a classy looking restaurant with good friendly service. The starter of mussels in a creamy Gorgonzola sauce was delicious. My New York strip was substantial but possibly a little over cooked. The dessert of the day was tasty but huge and a little heavy. If you are looking for good quality food in a delightful ambience then this is the place for you.
