Things to do in Bound Brook
We have visited this location three times. Each time we enjoyed the choice of burgers (30 different ones) and the choice of fries (several different ones). The staff has been consistently friendly, helpful, and courteous. Much superior to those fast food burger places. We will certainly return. Three smaller issues - 1) We have been experiencing cold weather but the facility has been on the chilly side during each of our three visits. 2)There are TVs on plus they play music too loudly. Also, during our visits, it appears that many of the customers are middle age yet the too loud music would seem to appeal to younger customers. Lower the decibels and play something more appropriate for more of the customers. 3)The side street driveway entrance is not kind to cars that are lower to the ground.

Crowned as the" Best Bar in New Jersey" . Verve Continues the tradition of the Court House Cafe circa 1901, Verve is your landmark 23 year bistro of excellence. Situated in the heart of downtown Somerville, NJ, Verve serves the best in French bistro fare
The restaurant was full, so the service wasn't as attentive as I had expected, and the tables were close enough together that the conversations from adjacent tables was annoying. I noticed that none of the servers were smiling and I found that odd.I enjoyed my three appetizers and they were so filling that I didn't have room for dessert, other than a delicious glass of Warrior Port.I recommend the poached pear salad (I ordered the dressing on the side), the tuna tartare and the gnocchi (with brussel sprouts, feta and squash or pumpkin puree.)

Family-friendly Restaurant and Bar offering live music on Saturday nights, karaoke on Fridayâs and Open mic on Wednesdays.
Mostly it's a bar, but it has surprisingly good food. The dishes are well presented and of excellent quality. My chicken psrm over pasta was plentiful and seasoned well. Other dishes I observed were equally attractive.Service was friendly and efficient. They don't waste money on fancy menus - the menu is a few sheets of printer paper stapled at the corner. It equals the ambiance of the bar.

Great interior renovation from the previous 'The Office' establishment. The interior was opened up and now is light and airy with a larger bar and plenty of tables. As a pub it's great, the bar got very crowded on a Saturday afternoon with everyone having a good time and getting loud as the beer went down and the game scores on TV got closer as the games went on.The food however was just aw'rite. The Trashcan Nachos are brought to the table in a small pale (Trashcan) and then turned upside down on the plate by the server who tried to get it all on a pile in the center of the plate? What's the point? My Granny's Smoked Beef Brisket was just OK, the best thing of the meal were the thin fries.

First off, this is not what I was expecting. It's about the size of a postage stamp with seating, maybe for about 20 people. I went at "prime" time and there was only 1 other small group in there.I was greeted immediately and allowed to choose my seat. Menu is good. I sat next to a front window that looked out onto the sidewalk and street. I chose a turkey burger with 2 eggs (separate menu items). The burger was ok, not great. The fries (to me) were a little under cooked. Eggs are eggs. The thing is, this is just a solid and quiet place with good service and extremely reasonable prices. It was a good experience, even though I didn't love what I had, and I'd go back.Park in the back.

Awesome freaking sandwiches! Best I've ever had outside of New York. Huge, their half a sandwich is equal to a large in 98% of the country. Quality ingredients and generous portions. Pizza was passable, cheese "fries" were way better than they looked. Bacon cheeseburger was okay according to my daughter. Oh, ordered it by Grubhub, arrived within 25 mins. Not 70 they predicted.

I am always up for eating in a diner, so I stopped in for lunch while my son was attending a campus event at Rutgers. Very friendly atmosphere and staff, and many families in the restaurant. I grabbed a stool at the counter and was helped immediately and the service was great. I ordered the cajun turkey burger with fries and a cup of Manhattan chowder. The chowder was good and chunky with great flavor but didn't see any clams. The fries were awesome, crispy exterior and fluffy inside. The burger was just OK, not much spice at all and certainly not spicy. I think I would like to try some of the other specialty items that I saw go by that looked really good. Didn't have room for desert, but they all looked good and are homemade.

Neighborhood New American Eatery with locations in Bridgewater, Gillette and now Flemington (September 2018) is central New Jerseyâs favorite family restaurant group, having served millions of loyal guests since 1863. Offering quality meals and beverages
Thank you Chimney Rock Inn for having many vegan options. It always amazes me that some restaurants can successfully manage to have several vegan options, but most can't even offer one! Although I grew up in Bridgewater this was my first visit, but it won't be the last. I ordered a bowl of veg chili and the strawberry quinoa salad. Both were delicious. The chili portion could have been a little bigger, while the chip portion surrounding the bowl could have been smaller. Red sangria was just ok, next time I'll stick to wine.Husband had the salmon which came with a salad. Apple brown betty a la mode for dessert. The food was good, not outstanding, but the choices for a vegan diner coming with a non-vegan diner was the high point for us. And nice to dine outside too.
