This place has the best food! From the footlong hotdogs, daily specials and homemade desserts to die for. They are famous for seasonal strawberry shortcake and peach shortcake. The pies are amazing with mile high meringue wings with chocolate and coconut being our favorites! Their ice cream treats are delicious too!

Closed Sunday and mondays
I ate here with a number of business people this week. The lunch buffet which is normally good with several interesting choices was horrible. They had fried liver and steak fingers on the buffet. The steak fingers were primarily made from gristle. They were almost inedible. The fried livers were awful and actually had to spit one out. I was watching a coworker eat it and actually did the same thing without knowing I had done the same but much more inconspicuous. Absolutely disgusting. The desert choices were horrible. The salad was about the best part of the buffet. I can't say I will be back again. This place used to have a good lunch buffet. Not any longer. I'm not sure why people pay $10.00 for this?

Hubby and I came for breakfast while having work done on our RV. Breakfast was good, service was great, coffee was refilled often and hubby said it tasted great. We both enjoyed our meals and the biscuits were wonderful with the apple butter. I got an omelette, hubby got chicken fried steak and eggs. A little lite on the veggie options as add in's but our food came out hot. Atmosphere is typical diner, table and chairs. The menu was varied and we would eat here again if in the area.

Colton's offers up great food, especially the Hawaiian Ribeye, although a little pricey. Friday and Saturday nights and special occassions (ie Mother's Day) always has a wait and slower service since they are SO busy. I recommend going during the week or at lunch time if you can.
