We had a very nice diner with good fresh food! The service is very good and they are very friendly. The place looks real nice and cousy!They went the extra mile and offered us cigarettes and a beerglass to take home as a souvenir! This is what hospitality should look like, making us feel right at home! Thanks for having us! If you want to have a great night out, We recommend you go to this place!

You would not accept this kind of restaurant in a typical German town: modern, stylish, cosmopolite and great food. The staff was very friendly and offered a table at the river-site. the soup was a very positive surprise (carrot with orange) and the main course: salmon even topped this. The staff is friendly and advised a really great wine! Compliments for this: the choice of wines was wide and the one you advised was really "spot on" ! I went the day after to the wine-store in the hotel to buy some bottles of this great Sicilian wine.And while eating, please also visit the free gallery with great modern art. Inspiring!If you go to Lüneburg and do want to eat in a cosmopolite atmosphere: Canoe is the place to go. By the way, I can understand that very traditional guests visiting the old city of Lüneburg do not understand this modern concept. They should go to a "Bierkeller" and drink a litre of German beer with Bratwurst and Pommes. If that suits them, fine, it certainly does not suit me. I prefer the Canoe.

Visited with friends while in Luneburg. It had an extensive menu and good, clearly marked vegan options. I upgraded my vegan burger to a beyond meat burger which was incredible. It was a little expensive, but was there as a treat. The service was a bit slow but the people were nice enough. Also had a peanut butter milkshake which I enjoyed.
