The Zanzibar Horse Club was created in partnership with animal charity Zaaso in 2018.From October 2018 we will offer a variety of accompanied rides to suit all tastes; beach rides both in the morning and evening including sunset, swimming with horses, in Nungwi.

Horse riding with Zanzibar Horse Club, along one of the world's best beaches, is an absolute must! It's a once in a lifetime experience... The horses are lovely, the staff are friendly, the beach is really beautiful, and the riding is even better! Trekking through the village on route to the beach was so much fun. What a way to see Nungwi village and get a glimpse of village life! Traditional fishing dhows were dotted all over the beach making for an incredibly beautiful landscape. Riding along Nungwi's stunning beach with Oreo has to be one of the best things I've done in a very long while. So, a million thank yous to Zanzibar Horse Club for an absolutely unforgettable day out. I can't recommend this experience enough!

I booked a romantic sunset couples horse ride with Rosa and What a beautiful experience it has been. Rosa was wonderful and patient as we have very limited riding experience and the horses are beautiful, strong and majestic. We enjoyed the beautiful sight of the setting sun as we rode down to the beach and went into the warm depths of the Zanziba lagoon on the horses.... it was absolutely perfect.... Thank you so much for making our day so special Rosa... it truly was a heavenly experience.
