Extremely kind an skilled staff. Yvonne gave me an amazing holistic (full) body massage which is otherworldly and almost makes you forget that you are actually already in a real-life dreamworld on the platform overseeing the lagoon and all its animals.

Wayiwayi Art Studio and Gallery

My partner and I and a couple friends had a tour of the gallery and workspaces by the lovely Yandey. I was really impressed by the cultural teachings about marriage that were depicted and expressed through the artwork, as well as the amazing projects that are being done with the children in the community. There are plenty of gorgeous pieces of art, crafts and books to look at and purchase. What a wonderful family of artists!

The ladies were very professional and very nice. They helped to arrange a taxi to pick me up and extended their opening hours to allow me to come after work. I had a massage which was superb and an excellent pedicure. The set up is simple, but everything is clean and all products and equipment are high end. The ladies are very well trained and very service minded. They pay attention to details such as music in the background and essential oils and candles in the background to help you relax. Prices are friendly compared to other spas in town. I have no hesitation recommending this spa to anyone. Keep it up!

37D Gallery

37d Gallery is located within a beautiful contemporary building in the Kabulonga area. The gallery holds a wide range of art works by both local Zambian artists and international artists. The Gallery is non-profit organisation which in turn supports the stART Foundation which is a charitable trust dedicated to the generation and promotion of visual arts practice and arts education in Zambia.

My fiancé and I ended up in Lusaka with a few days to be tourists. We found 37D on trip advisor and figured we would spend 30 minutes there. 2 hours into our visit, we were already planning our next trip back! To start with, the staff here are all welcoming and friendly. The various forms of artwork are all presented with the title, artist, and price in US dollars. It is in a modern building with indoor and outdoor spaces. There is even a section with children’s artwork and all of the proceeds go directly to the children and the program that works to provide children with art classes, which in turn helps children to pay school fees. Next to the art gallery is a gem gallery. We had the pleasure of talking with the owner who showed us the largest mined tourmaline and explained to us how jewelry is made from the wide selection of Zambian-mined gems. Then we found ourselves in the cafe, where we each had a coffee and a treat (banana bread and a chocolate cookie). Here we were able to casually look through the gift store and chose a lovely pair of earrings. It was hard to chose just one gift item as everything is so lovely and supports Zambian businesses that employ local people. We will definitely be back on this same short visit because they even have yoga a few days a week for k100 which takes place in a gorgeous outdoor area.

We were so impressed with artists and their work. We watched them creating beautiful images on fabric, then visited the several shops. They keep a good selection on hand of pieces here. You can find some things at Mfuwe Lodge and local airport also. Strongly advise you to stop and look. You will not be disappointed.

Mulberry Mongoose

We hand craft exceptional jewellery & accessories inspired by the African bush whilst investing in conservation & the unique South Luangwa, Zambia. Our most celebrated range turns snare wire, found during essential anti snare patrols carried out to conserve our iconic wildlife, into jewellery & gives donations back to fund more patrols with every piece of jewellery sold.

Reviewed By charlnoble - Kapiri Mposhi, Zambia

Mulberry Mongoose is a lovely jewellery shop making unique and beautiful pieces. The women who work there are friendly and knowledgeable and make you feel very welcome to look around. My favourite collection was their snare wire collection, in which all of the pieces have been made from snare wires found in poaching traps in the local environment and 5% of the profits are donated to anti-poaching groups. I bought a bracelet from this collection that will always remind me of my time in South Luangwa and I'm tempted to buy more from their website. Although much pricier than other souvenirs, it's worth every penny. If you are doing a safari in this area, don't miss out on a trip to Mulberry Mongoose

Livingstone Museum

This popular museum contains Zambia’s oldest collection of fascinating samples from the area’s prehistory, as well as photographs, musical instruments and memorabilia belonging to Livingstone, the first white man to view Victoria Falls.

Reviewed By Ba8ydriver

We enjoyed our visit to the museum a most enjoyable morning. The Museum follows the start of African culture right up to the present day with good and well-presented exhibitions. One room is entirely devoted to Dr David Livingstone and was very interesting as he discovered and named Victoria Falls after Queen Victoria and the town and the museum was named after him. Great museum with friendly staff recommend a visit if you're in Livingstone
