The Tara river canyon is the longest canyon in Montenegro. It is 82 kilometers (51 miles) long and is 1,300 meters (4,300 feet) at its deepest, making it the deepest river canyon in Europe. The canyon is protected as a part of Durmitor National Park and is a tentative UNESCO World Heritage Site. Tara river canyon is also second deepest in the world after the Grand canyon. Rafting on the Tara River from Brštanovice to Scepan Polje -18 kilometres of beautiful scenery and 21 challenging rapids.

There were two of us on this tour with Mladen, mother and daughter. We both had such a wonderful trip. I don't think you will find another guide that would create a trip so enjoyable. We were afraid that in these days of Covid that we would have to cancel all of our plans, but Mladin was creative and resourceful and have us a once in a lifetime tour that we will never forget. We really felt that we saw the real Montenegro. It was wonderful. He was friendly, spoke English very well, and was funny (kind of) that's an inside joke. We would highly recommend any tour he gives.

If you want to escape from city noise and enjoy the pure nature, Durmitor National Park is definitely the best choice. Black Lake is the premium tourist attraction of the Durmitor area. It is the largest and the best known of 18 glacial lakes on the mountain. During the summer time the lake consists of two smaller lakes: Big Lake and Little Lake. The lake is easily accessible and it is a most popular for hiking and recreation. Djurdjevica Tara Bridge(172m), represent one of the most visited attraction in Montenegro. Near the bridge, there are many places to visit, but certainly for those who prefer a real adventure, we recommend rafting on Tara.

My family and I had 9 hours free time in port of Kotor, so we decided to take a further look at Boka Bay. We arranged travel agency by recommendation of our friend who has already visited Montenegro. Driver Marco picked us up in the port, and took us first in beautiful Perast, from where we had a quick boat tour to two small island in the middle of the Bay. Next location was breath taking Porto Montenegro, the new built exclusive place in Tivat. After that we retourned and spend some time in Kotor Old town. That was the best time spent to see more of that amazing county.

Active Montenegro is a great agency! I took part in trips organized by them during the summer 2020, when I spent my vacation in Herceg Novi. I took part in rafting and a trip to Dubrovnik. Experienced drivers, comfortable buses, interesting itineraries, and the amazing rafting. The most beautiful views and great skippers! I recommend it to everyone! :)

Budva is a must see for anyone traveling in the region. Its an "old town" with a wonderful past. The night time entertainment in the city is great too but start your day with a city tour. Its worth the cost and will blow your mind...or just boggle it.

Well known as the "Montenegrin eyes" the Black Lake is the biggest and the most beautiful of 17 lakes in the Durmitor National Park. A short walk to the lake and maybe moderate hiking along the marked trails and snacks in the bar on the shore, will give you pleasure and refreshment for the whole day. After the break, we continue, giving Durmitor a chance to convince us that its beauty is not over. Tara river has the deepest canyon in Europe. The Đurđevića Tara Bridge provides a unique view of the fast river and the surrounding nature. Let's not forget to mention the Zip Line- the most beautiful view of the bridge if you dare to "fly" from one side to the other.(not included) On the way back - panoramic ride on the edge of the Morača River Canyon.

We were on Infinity of the Seas in September 2019 and were lucky enough to have Milo as our tour guide for our tour on September 13, 2019. He greeted us at the port and said "Surprise you get me as your tour guide", the four of us were so delighted. We had booked the 6 hour tour recommended for cruise passengers and it was excellent. We added the tour for our Lady of the Rock in Perast and it was wonderful. Milo gave us a private tour of the Church and explained the history of how it came to be. After this tour, Milo Popovic gave us a tour of the rest of Kotor with breathtaking views and explained the history of the Island to us. His knowledge was outstanding (he could be a history teacher). He also treated us to lunch at a hilltop restaurant. There were numerous stops along the way and Milo took great pictures of the 4 of us. It was a wonderful day, certainly one of the best we had. We highly recommend Tours of Milo and hope we have the opportunity to return to Kotor and would definitely do another tour with Milo Popovic

10. Rafting on Tara river and Durmitor National Park
Welcome on one of the most beautiful outdoor activities in the stunning nature of Tara river, popular because of it cleanliness as a "Tear of Europe". The Tara River cuts the Tara River Canyon, the longest canyon in Montenegro and Europe and second longest in the world after Grand Canyon, at 78 kilometers in length and 1,300 meters at its deepest. The canyon is protected as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is a part of Durmitor National Park. The one-day rafting route, from Brstnovica to Šćepan Polje is 18 km long and it takes around 3 hours, depending at what time of the year we are doing this activity. You will also have opportunity to enjoy in a driving from Podgorica to Scepan Polje with a lot of beautiful view point. For this tour we have to options as a one day tour and second option with overnight at the ethno village (wooden cottage) in the nature and easy hiking and visit of National Park Durmitor. It is necessary to take package of good mood for unforgettable experience!

Very exciting and interesting tour that keeps you on your toes and keep wanting you more of it! Tanja was a blast and I could go with her anywhere in the world as a tour guide, she is absolutely amazing and a great host. The lake and the bay are amazing and there is so much to explore. I have enjoyed every second of the trip. Budva is beautiful and Lovcen is magical! Food and wine were perfect and the winery was charming, with very pleasant staff, and great service. I expected a lot from Montenegro but this trip gave me so much more, thank you Montenegro Wonders for this great experience and so much efort to make this trip unforgettable.
