Yozgat Museum

Yozgat itself is a very pleasant Turkish town with some interesting features, including an old mansion which has been restored and you can visit and wander round the traditionally decorated rooms. Ataturk spoke from the balcony of this house.
Hattusa is a short distance from here. This site is still being excavated and is very large. Ideally you should have a vehicle as some of the amazing features are a distance from each other or take a picnic and comfortable shoes and spend the day. Fantastic Hittite remains, huge stone structures, detailed carvings. Signs are at the entrance to each section and are in Turkish, German and English and they give they basic information so that you know what you are looking at. There are no guides at each section, you just wander around yourself. There are guide books at the entrance to the whole site. Sorry, but I don't know how much the entrance is (you pay one fee for the whole site) I have a Turkish museum card and friends sorted out the entrance details as a treat. If you have any interest in Hittite history or just an interest in ancient sites, I am sure that you will find this site very special.
We flew to Ankara and Yozgat is another 2 hours by car from there.

Vale a pena !
