Yogyakarta boasts stunning architecture and a truly spiritual sensibility. The ancient Hindu temples of Prambanan look like hand-drizzled sand castles, while the Sultan's palace is reminiscent of a gilded music box filled with jewels. Known for its arts and handicrafts, Yogyakarta is a cultural hub, a nerve center for traditional and modern puppetry.

Jogja Bay Waterpark (JBW) is one of southeast asia's largest waterpark located in the second largest tourist city in Indonesia namely Yogyakarta. And lately, it has become one of the tourist destinations in Yogyakarta. The uniqueness of Jogja Bay Waterpark is there is story telling between the tradition of Yogyakarta with the Pirates of Europe that poured through On-site Live Show, character, Water rides and Merchandise. Jogja Bay Waterpark old ghetto became a Pirate ambience Tropical Lust filled with greenery and thematic old pirates. In addition, there is the bay of jogja in 9 exciting rides that can be played, some of the most challenging rides.
I have twice come here, and staff was welcoming me with pleasant smile. You can meet Lifeguard staff in every spot and they ready to serve and the slides very fun to try with my family. Can't wait to try again in another slides since Jogja Bay have 20 slides.

We visited Merapi Park during rainy season (March), which need some efforts to fight the weather. During my stay in Yogyakarta, my plan is to visit Merapi Park was in the same day when we visited Borobudur temple, because usually this destination was in every tour trip, or the recommended destination when rent a car with driver. But since that day was raining, so we need to rent car again in the next day to visit Merapi Park. Merapi Park is really an outdoor destination, so if it is rain, there will not be anything can do in here. But, there is positive point visiting Merapi Park during rainy season, the wind in here is very enjoyable, especially to spend leisure time in gazebos in the park. Merapi Park also known as The World Landmark, because we can find some world miniatures in this park, for example Pyramid, Big Ben, statue of Liberty, etc, there were also some information about the miniature close to them. This park was still under development, the major areas are The World Landmark and Cowboy are (we are not visiting this area). There is 1 restaurant and 1 cafe in this park. Fortunately we had our lunch here, the menus were very simple, fried chicken, meatball (bakso sapi), sayur asam, telur dadar and chilli. But for the beverages, there are many choices of tea and coffee here. We did not visit the cafe. In my opinion, this park is OK to visit with kids/young kids, the park is not too big for small kids, and for adult, this park is nice to have pictures in it. The parking space are exactly at the cross of main gate. The park is clean also the toilet.
