Cultural Center of Cape Cod

The staff, art exhibits, classes (have taken three photography classes: two instructors were superb, the third embraced photoshop & "enhanced" photos, while I shoot unadulterated, as natural light and my eye captures the subject), on-site studios, music (bring ear-plugs) and Chef Joe offerings, are tops: five stars. Check their website for amazing free Friday opening receptions of new works, and for all the Cultural Center of Cape Cod has to offer. You too will be amazed. Love this place: a gift to us on Cape. (Half the "little joys" on my walls are from here: some of the best on Cape Cod, awash in writers, artists, creative energy, talent.) Tonight: Octoberfest!

Putter's Paradise

The spouting white whale is this mini-golf course's signature. The "mini Pebble Beach" of Cape Cod. Serving Gifford's famous ice cream.

We’ve been coming to Putter’s Paradise for a few years now and it’s the only mini golf course we make it to anymore. They let you play two games for the price of one if you wish and the staff/owner are very friendly. The course is well-designed and extremely well-kept with holes that are difficult and interesting but not absurd. It’s nice a shady on a sunny day with a nice breeze. 10/10 recommend.

Going to Gray's beach gives you the opportunity to be on a small beach in good weather, and walk the long boardwalk over the marsh any time of year. It is always beautiful.

A friend strongly recommended this place as their must-go spot every year so we stopped by today on our way back to Boston. I think it’s one of the best kept secret on the Cape! Beautiful marsh and view! Wish there was kayak rental close by but then that might ruin the peacefulness here. Will definitely come back in the future to watch the sunset.

Bass River Beach

Reviewed By S4014XWmichelep - Middletown, United States

Beautiful, large beach with ample parking and restroom facilities. There was a jetty you could sit on and watch the water or the paragliders across the river. There is a small board walk and pier for fishing. We were able to walk along the water and even stopped at a nearby hotel for a cocktail on their patio. Water was relatively calm, with some seaweed closest to the jetty areas. Parking fee was $20 for the day, which seemed to be the going rate.

Took my 3 young teens here last week. Grounds were well kept and clean. Greeted with a friendly smile. We played the 18 hole mini golf course which was a lot of fun- course in great shape. The kids rode the go karts a few times afterward- they loved it. I was SUPER impressed with the level of cleaning going on here during our visit. Inside was being cleaned/sprayed down .. outside the golf clubs were being cleaned between each use and there was hand sanitizer to use. Even the go karts were cleaned between uses and all drivers were asked to use sanitizer prior to entering the karts. Staff all wearing masks. I admit, prior to going I was a little apprehensive about the Covid measures at places like this, but seeing the care they were taking made me feel comfortable. Lots of choices for family fun in the area- this is a definite 10/10.

Wonderful beach with enough room, lots of seashells, and gentle waves. We were staying nearby so it was walkable. $20 is a bit pricey to use the lot for the day, that would be my only complaint.
