The Saturday market is always a must when we visit esp for local artisans and food. The waterfront scenery is beautiful and other parts of the city can be strolled. Great way to start a weekend.

Eugene Saturday Market

Open Saturdays from 10am to 5pm, April through November. Each Saturday Lane County's favorite artisans, chefs and musicians bring their creations to Saturday Market, Eugene's weekly open-air Marketplace, creating a vibrant event that nurtures local commerce and community. Founded in May of 1970, Eugene's Saturday Market is Oregon's original Saturday Market, and the oldest weekly open-air crafts festival in the United States. Wander among the 200 booths filled with fine handcrafts, always sold by the artisans themselves. The International Food Court features fifteen food booths serving a wide array of foods prepared fresh on site, for every meal of the day. The Market Stage showcases local and regional musicians, performing live all day long. Two nearby parking structures provide plenty of free parking, and the area is fully wheelchair accessible. Holiday Market is open from November 17th through December 24th at the Lane Events Center located at 13th and Jefferson in Eugene.
