We attempted the jungle room. Most of us were new to escape rooms but once we got into the swing of things it was non-stop and great fun. Our group was three adults and kids aged 15,10, and 8. Everyone was right into it and there was a huge variety of puzzles that everyone could have a go at (even the youngsters). The room was well laid out and the clues given when we were struggling ensured we didn't get stuck and bored. The kids already want to go back to try the other rooms

St. Mary's Lighthouse and Visitor Centre

Reached between the tides via a short causeway, St. Mary's has all the fascination of a miniature, part-time island. The Lighthouse, completed in 1898 on a hazardous coast for shipping, remained operational until 1984 when it was superseded by modern navigational techniques. Since then the Lighthouse and former keepers' cottages have been operated as a visitor centre by North Tyneside Council. The surrounding Nature Reserve contains an area of rockpools, clifftop grassland, a beach and newly created wetland habitats.Wherever possible we are open seven days a week between May and September, and during weekends and school holidays in the winter. However, it is not possible for us to open on some days because of tidal conditions. The stated opening times can also be subject to variations on occasion due to weather affecting the times of the tide.

Fantastic atmosphere in a comfy venue. Non and alcoholic drinks available with ice cream during the interval. Great night out, car park next door, superb act. What more could you want???

Decided to pop along one morning instead of using the caravan site pool and wasn't disappointed. The service was great at reception. Clean and tidy changing rooms with plenty of choice and lockers. The pool was clean and warning was given of when the waves were coming which was great as our daughter is still learning to swim and very nervous, the kids pool with pirate ship and slides was great and really helped with her confidence as she was having so much fun, we then moved onto play in the waves which was great. My husband had so much fun as well he was exhausted and when he attempted to lie on the side of the pool a lifeguard checked he was okay! Well worth a visit.

The staff are all very friendly and helpful, and we come to this lovely softplay often. The place is kept very clean and staff never seem to stop working hard to keep the place spotless! My 4 year old was attending a party so I rang up about his allergies. The support I received was absolutely superb! Every detail of each dish was thoroughly explored and they even went though several types of ice cream to find the most suitable. I was so grateful for the support and understanding. A really lovely, well run place!
